Good Monday to All,

I am off today, so is Hubby. We are staying home today, he has a Dr. appointment this afternoon. We may go over to LaSalle to go to Menards, but not sure.

The one good thing about the snow on Saturday, the streets are clear for anyone having to go to work today.

I am still working on a puzzle I got for Christmas. It is slow going, but I am determined to get it done.

Nancy, You must shop at HiVee. They do have an awesome hot food area.

Crystal, I do agree with Nancy. The overtime is great, but don't let work rule your life.

Connie, prayers for your friends family. It must be hadr to lose both of the parents within a few weeks.

Chris, are you off today?

Dawn, I am glad you enjoyed your weekend.

Sharon, what did you do all weekend?

Jason, I hope you had a great weekend too.

Hi Tbere,

I am still in Denver. I fly home tomorrow evening. The weather has been perfect and the Broncos are going to the super bowl!!!!! So today im going to buy Vinnie a Bronco shirt!

Nope at work. I also dislike having Pres day off. Too soon after Turkey day and Christmas. I would rather have Pres day as a floater like we (my work) has Pulaski day.

Hi friends,

I am so dreading this arctic blast we are about to get. We havent had any snow so far this evening.

Last night our cats were sitting looking out the window in our lower level family room when they all started hissing and meowing. There was a baby black cat staring in at them. So of course, this cat lover went out to try and see if I could bring it in from the cold. I think it was feral, but now I am worried about the darn thing in this cold weather. Of course I am feeding it and hope to possibly catch him/her to be spayed. I may have to get a cage. It was a baby!

My daughter and her hubby and the kids spent the day with us yesterday. It was lovely. We just hung out and ate all day. I missed the football games but who cares???

Getting ready to go up to bed.

Hope when we wake up it's sunny and 75 degrees. A girl can dream.......
