Thursday Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois,
Another drab day is in store for us. At least we have passed the half way mark of January. Another day of funky weather, so stay aware of it.
Not sure why, but we have been busy at work this week. And I know we had a full moon last night, all the nuts were calling us all day yesterday. If you had seen the moon last night as it was rising, it is called a wolf moon. Its the first full moon of the year, a great big orange globe.
Not sure what I am doing this day, I know exercising is my first priority.
Dawn, your adventure as a stand in on the commerical sounds like a fun day. Maybe that is your next job.
I guess Kim is working out of state again. At least she is somewhere warm.
Nancy, what are you doing?
Chris, what plans do you have for the weekend?
Sharon, is the ice gone from your work parking lot yet?
Crystal, how is your new gym?
Jason, you never say, but do you work somewhere?
Have a great day, stay warm and dry,
Hugs,
Good morning Illinoisans,
Well I generally say that my days are pretty much the same. Well yesterday while there was a group of us knitting a young man in a hoodie entered the yarn store and then quickly left. he went in each store in the shopping center so someone called the police who were there almost instantly and they arrested him on an outstanding warrant. We had figured he was casing the stores. He must have been shocked by a group of ten women. Big excitement for one afternoon! I'm going to work there this morning to fill in so I'll be alone but I'm not afraid. This is a rare experience and he's in jail, so it's OK.
I'm supposed to meet some friends for dinner, but we'll see what the snow does. It's snowing now, but there's not much forecast.
Have a good day,
Connie

Good morning Lisa,
Indeed we passed the half way mark. You got that right about the weather foor today.
Being busy can be good at times. It's true about the full moon.
I use to have a job a few years ago, but my weight got the best of me. Once I get whatever surgeries I need to get done and out of the way I'll start looking for a job again.
Jason.

Hi Dear Ones,
I was working on my payroll calendar today and realized spring is only 63 days from today. I can handle that. I know it will not be magically gorgeous on 03/20, but at least it technically wont be winter anymore. I recall last May being blue because spring just would not cooperate.
The ice is still hanging on in the parking lot. I guess the cold is going to stay for awhile. I heard tomorrow it is supposed to be very cold. I have decided to start taking Fridays off when I can. Tomorrow is one of those days. I have so much work that can be done at home, so I am dedicating Fridays to doing just that. Is anyone off Monday. It is a holiday. G is off, I am not.
I bit the bullet and joined the Biggest Loser contest at work. We weigh in Tuesday. I need a kick in the butt and I am hoping this may be the one thing that will get me back in the gym. I cannot recall, but does anyone remember how carbs per day we are supposed have after WLS to lose weight? I recall the protein grams were like 300, correct?????? It seems like a lifetime ago, not just 2.5 years.
Blessings and stay warm
Sharon
Protein 60-90. Carbs: wasn't given a number but they were to be healthy carbs, (not junk food).I just focus on protein. If I get 60 grams in and 60 0z water, I don't have much room for other things, but I do try to get some veggies.
