Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Sorry I have been MIA...I have been working all day and then coming home and working from home. I have worked over 60 hours so far and I am going today and tomorrow. I am tired and stressed out trying to learn this new system. Usually when you are learning a new thing a person is right there teaching you. In my case I am being taught via phone...yep via phone. It's just the wrong way to be taught. And it's stressing me out. And the lady that is teaching me doesn't seem to know things herself and has to stop and figure things out. So it is just completely ridiculous. No mind you I am 2 months behind in my work....and I have work coming in daily. So ya I am just up to my eyeballs with work!!!!
So needless to say there is no time right now for working out until I get caught up. But because of the nature of my job and how much running around I do at work I still manage to get in 6k-8k of steps everyday. And I am still eating healthy. Except last night....I had a Portillios cheeseburger (I always throw away most of the bun)....but it was sooooo yummy!!! I was at work till after 6pm and I had to run some errands and do groceries....I just decided what the heck it's ok to splurge once in awhile. So I did it. Then I came home ate and worked some more...ugh!!!
Today I work and work some more. But I do have this murder mystery dinner to go to later tonight!!! I paid for it last month and it's the only fun thing I have going on right thing. The only bad thing is it's going to snow and I have drive into the city. Oh well. I am tired but this will be fun.
What are you guys up to today???
Well I have to get going to work....see you all later...bye
Good Morning Crystal, You are a trouper. The overtime will really help you, $$.
My daughter Annette is going to a Murder Mystry tonight in Naperville, I think. She is with Sunoco Products, and this is thier winter party. It sounds like fun.
After being gone almost all day yesterday, today I am in and making Jewish Penicillin. (Chicken Soup). I am also making all the drop ins to go with it, noodles, rice, kasha (buckwheat) and Matzah balls. Hubert will enjoy it for lunch when he gets home, Supper will probably be hamburgers and a veggie or two.
Karla, have a good time in Denver. I hope your numbers turn out ok. I go in March for my tests, then see my GP, Cardio and surgeon in April.
Connie, did you stay home today or go to knitting?
Nancy, you staying in and snuggleing up with the furbabys today?
Christine, where are you off to today?
Sharon, are you getting your house in order today?
I am going to work on my puzzle and quilt this afternoon.
Hugs and stay safe.
Crystal,
You and I are in the same boat. Nobody has shown me the system at work so I call the 800 number and they walk me thru the steps. The prob is they are in India and their accents are so thick I cant understand a thing they are saying.
Hang in there...think of all the money and new brain cells you are generating!!!!!!!!!
Hugs,
Sharon
Sharon- That is too funny. The lady that is training has a thick Asian accent...LOL!!!! She is very nice but hard to understand when she is giving me letters. Our screens names are things like "FLBN" or F-32....and it is hard for me to understand what she is saying. Ugh...
What bothers me is that everyone else got one on one training. The Accounts Payable lady has had someone sitting at her desk every day for a couple weeks. Payroll has had people there for a couple of weeks. Billing dept. too. But me...nope...I get a voice on a speaker phone. I said to everyone if I hear one person complain about their training I will punch them in the head!!!!
the good thing is I am understanding the system now so each training session is getting easier. And I am really getting to be a pro at this!!!
