Sunday Roll Call

One additional day off, aaaaaahhhhh! We will see how long I can be on my feet today. I have fallen two times in the last three weeks while walking through snow. The toe of my right boot got caught in the snow and down I went face first. The first time I landed on my right knee mostly on the black top of the PD parking lot (I was right at the snow, curb and blacktop) and the second time it was in the soft snow but I turned funny while going down. I either bruised it internally or something else. It is tender across the middle of the knee and bothers me when climbing stairs.

Enough of that. Not much on our agenda today other than to got and get a few things from the grocery store, stop at the auto parts store, Target and then on the way home get the car washed. Now that it is a little warmer and is relatively dry on the streets we will get our little car washed.

What is happening in your neck of the woods?

HI Friends,

Ugh, Christine! I recall about 25 years ago I fell 2X on my behind in a big snow. I was so sore for so long. 10 years later my chiropractor told me he saw 2 broken  ****yx that healed over time. Please be careful my dear. If you can get in a hot tub. That helps immeasurably.

I am off this month from greeting at church, so I am going to take my time and get to church at 10 instead of 8:45am like I usually do. I feel's so great not to rush this morning.

I dont have any plans today. I think we are going out for late lunch/early dinner but other than that no plans. No footbal since the Bears and Packers are out :(

Woke up this morning to cat kisses. It doesnt get any better than that!

Have a great day everyone.

Hugs,

Sharon

I am pretty sure the two falls discomfort is a little more than just going to cause me some soreness. I cannot kneel on the knee without it bothering me. I am pretty sure I have early stages of needing a knee replacement or "Arthur" is starting to rear his ugly head.

Good Morning,

The sun is out, even if it is still cold, the sun makes everything better.

I just had breakfast, cottage cheese with pecans and cinnamon sugar, I mix mine with spenda.

I am spending the day quilting today. I would like to get a good amount done, but it will depend on if my back will allow it.

Kim, you do have an interesting job, but I agree, 18 days is a long time to be gone from home.

What are Crystal and Nancy up to this weekend?

Dawn, what kind of wheel do you have?

Jason, I am glad you had a good trip.

Christine, stay off that foot.

Have a great day,

Hugs,

Lisa

I am sure I will pay for being on my feet and walking up and down stairs. Things need to be done. It is the right knee not my feet that is paining me. Going up a set of stairs is the worst.

Good morning Lisa,

Indeed the sun is out, the wind outside does make it cold, true about the sun.

Sounds good what you have made. It smells good too.     :-)

Thank you Lisa.

Have a great day.

Hello everyone

Yesterday I ran a bunch of errands.  One of which was finally joining the gym!!!  Yeah!!!  Catching up on some projects around here that I have been putting off.  I also went to the auto parts store too...I had to buy windshield wipers.  I will put them on today.  I had to get new ones.  After driving to Willowbrook Friday in the rain and my drivers side blade was just so torn it was actually flapping around.  I kept putting off replacing it because it has been so cold.  But not today...today isn't so bad.  I am so stubborn I refuse to pay to have my wipers replaced when I can do it myself.

Today I am going to meet some friends to see Frozen and then we are going to eat a Panera.  Not my favorite place to eat.  But that's where everyone wanted to go.  I will figure out something...maybe just some soup.  Everyone loves their bread...but really I never really liked and now I shouldn't really have it.  They do have some good green tea.

About the gym....it is a bit of an adjustment to workout in a full gym.  I have been working out in my gym at the complex.  This tiny little gym and no one ever uses it....at most there is one other person there with me.  But this gym is so nice....

Anyway...have a nice day all....see you later

Isn't the gym at the complex the one where the creep was at? If it was then it will be a win, win with having people around you - safety in numbers.

Good Evening Everyone!

We just finished dinner.  Meatloaf -- Yum!  Spent the afternoon shopping.  Went to Pet Smart to get a nametag for Wiggles.  Believe it or not he is jealous that he does not have one.  He let us know.  Also got another pet bed for the cats to sleep in.  For some reason they love this type of bed and Fight over the two that we have.

Then it was off to the grocery store.  That always takes time as they have recently doubled their size and rearranged everything.  I love all that they offer.  Both organic and regular foods.

Tomorrow it is back to work.  I am crazy but I signed up for overtime for 2 weeks.  It will be good pay.  Hope I survive.

Crystal, ORiley auto parts and Auto Zone will both install wipers for you at no charge.  I always get mine there  -- they are cheaper and the guys install them for me.  Cant beat that.

Christine, I am so sorry that you have fallen.  The last time I fell I was stiff and sore for a couple of weeks.  Ouch!

Sharon, enjoy your relaxing day today.  I woke up to kitties wanting to snuggle  -- love it!

Lisa  happy quilting.  That sounds like a fun winter project!

Jason, I am glad you are safely home.  You were really lucky to miss our super cold weather.  Today felt great by comparison.

Dawn, enjoy your pottery making.

Everyone have a great week!
