Saturday Roll Call
Good Morning on this last Saturday of 2013.
All the years are going fast, but wasn't it just January yesterday?
My thoughts are with Christine and Dave today.
I am in the process of de-Christmasing the house. Almost all goodies have been recycled into the disposal, and some of the special things have been put back into their storage places, and I am about to go down and bring up the boxes for everything else. The next thing on my list is to get back to exercising. (Now that I can find my exercise equipment again. It hasd been buried under all the holiday stuff.)
What is everyone else up to today?
Hugs,
Good afternoon Lisa,
It sure is the last Saturday of 2013, yougot that right that all the years are going by fast (I thought I was the only one), to me it still feels like the year 2008, but at the same time not.
Same here with my apartment. Good idea, I bet that's going to be a good workout.
I went to get a haircut today and got my eyebrows waxed today so I cant look pretty for the rest of the year and look pretty for my Arizona trip next Saturday. Slowly but surely I'll be getting my bags ready for my trip. This Monday I have my appointment with the Chiari surgeon and I hope I get my surgery date set up after my trip. Once I get my syrgery date I just hope I don't get any more surprises.
Got to go now and take care of my aunt's one cat and one of her two dogs. they go back home tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
Hugs, have a great day.

Hello friends, We are home and glad to be here! We had a wonderful time in Arkansas and also enjoyed the warmer weather. But home is home and it's all good. Some of you were aware of Lambert's. It's not a good place for two Bariatric people to eat. The servings are gigantic and even tho we ordered as small amount as possible, we brought a lot home and left a lot there! Nothing was prepared in a nutritious manner. Now we've seen it and would never go again unless we had teenage boys to feed. LOL!
We'll grab a quick dinner at Social tonight and then plan to stay in a few days while it's bitter cold.
Take care, Connie

Good evening Lisa and the rest of Illinois!
I am home after going to get another trial pair of contacts. The last ones did not seem "just right". I am not sure these are either.......
I went back to the dentist yesterday after trying to be patient and "deal with it". Last weekend, I was still having quite a bit of pain and got a flashlight to check it out. There was a lot of white tissue in the area that did not go away after brushing (gently) and rinsing. I assumed I was being a baby and stuck it out all week. Yesterday, I decided to have it looked at. Although the dry socket is healing well, I have "inflamation" (i.e. infection, I assume) that is producing, pain, swelling and heat. He gave me a Z-pack and Tramadol for pain. The pain medicine makes me kind of "mellow" but it helps.
I am heading to my bedroom to watch the "Supernatural" DVD's that Olivia gave me for Christmas. It is really cool, because if I doze.....I can still catch up! Todd does not seem to be interested. I figure if the medicine makes me rest, it is a good thing, right?
I have asked David to take down the tree and I am hoping he does. We are supposed to host New Year's for the neighbors and need the room. Hopefully, I will be pain free by then!
Gotta go lay down. Everyone have a fantastic evening!
