Wednesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I was so tired yesterday I don't know why, but I was in bed and sleeping before 9pm!!!  I hope I'm not getting sick...it seems everyone around me is getting sick.  I just feel a bit run down I guess. 

I still have to go buy wrapping paper and and get my presents wrapped.  I will do that this weekend.  I always wait to do that.  I guess because I hate doing that part. 

I was just reading an article about how Subway is just as unhealthy as McDonalds.  They were talking in terms of calories and sodium content.  But my thoughts went to the processed lunchmeat....and how unhealthy that is.  I don't really like Subway that much so I don't go that often at all.  

I was on Facebook today and I realized Sheri just had WLS surgery again.  She was on here a few years back and had the "Rosie the Riveter" avatar.  She had a band and I know she has been struggling with her band.  So she must have been revised.  To what...a sleeve or RNY...I'm not sure.  But I wish her all the best.  How exciting for her. 

Today is work and then out with Chris.  That's my day...what are you up to today???

Hi Gators,

I am busy too. I think all women are especially busy during this time of the year. I am getting home late nightly and falling sound asleep by 9 also.

We had our Christmas Party at work yesterday. I catered it and it was a big hit.  The gifts of blankets seemed well-received. I talked the docs into giving out the bonuses with a signed card and small wrapped gift. this year. In the past,  a check was put in the payroll envelope by the former manager. Moral is getting better. We are beginning to feel more like a cohesive team. Everyone here is a gem.

Last night I came home to my massive new artificial tree. I cant wait to open the box and put it up 1-2-3.

It's official; one week to Christmas Day. We celebrate Eve at my house. It will be the first time in years my daughter, son-in-law and grandbabies will be celebrating with us. That is the only gift I need.

Well. I am off to do some lunch-time running around.

Hi friends,

We had a party at knitting today. I brought salad and everyone else bought sweets. It was OK for me because I'm more interested in other forms than what they had. I did finish a scarf today but I don't have enough yarn to finish the second one. I put in an emergency order for one last skein. It will probably come Saturday.

I also picked up the house this morning and started thinking about what to take to Little Rock.  It will be very casual but I'm not a casual person. I always tend to be more dressed up than others.. I'd far rather wear a blazer than a sweatshirt. In fact I only own one sweatshirt and only bought it because it has a hoodie. LOL
