Hello Dear Ones,

I am almost done with my shopping. Yesterday, I purchased fleece blankets for my staff. With all this cold weather, it's nice to come home and cover up on the couch in my fleece blanket and read or watch TV. I am going to also get them all a cup and cocoa. The theme is relax.

Yesterday, I was so bummed because everywhere I called and checked, I was told the same thing; no PlayStation 4 until 2014. Ha......it's good to have friends in high places. One of my peeps is a human resource manager at Walmart. She got me one! They sent a total of 4 games to each store. My husband told me last night they are selling on EBAY for over a thousand bucks now. He will be surprised.

I ate pasta last night with white sauce. BIG MISTAKE. First the foamies, followed by pain and then the barfing. I will never do that again. It's the first time I have had pasta and white sauce since before the surgery.

I am home today. Cleaning and wrapping.

What is on your agenda???????

Hugs,

Sharon

Hi friends,

I am going to wrap Kay's presents today while she is teaching. I also need to get my sons' presents mailed. I gave my daughter hers at Thanksgiving. She said she'd wait to open them. LOL

i started a new shawl last night. Will post pics in a day or two. I'm better at posting on FB than on here.

yesterday I had coffee with a young friend I met thru the Bookworm. She's covered in tattoos and had glow in the dark red hair-- another person I would never have met in any other way and she's a darling person! It's   amazing how mind gets stretched!

Have a great day!

Connie

Hello everyone

Today is my office Christmas party.  Which means they close everything down at 12 and we go over to Heroes West and enjoy ourselves the rest of the day and get paid for 8 hours.  Sounds good to me.

Then I come home and bake all of the cookies I made last night.  I like to have my cookie dough chill for 24 hours...I think it makes the cookies bake better.  Anyway, then I will have to do laundry.  I made a big dinner last night so I will just have left overs from that.  I made a ravioli casserole with chicken Italian sausage.  I can't eat much pasta...so I focus on the sausage.  I think I will throw in some garlic bread for Chris..lord knows he needs his carbs. I also made a special batch of cookies for him.

Tomorrow I have a very full day so who knows if I will have time to get on here.  But I have a Christmas party to go to at night (hence all the cookie baking).  Before that I will be celebrating with Chris.  His oldest turns 16 and he wants to go to Hooters.  I never been there and not really looking forward to it.  Then we are going guitar shopping.  He is getting one for his birthday.  Even before that we have to go pick them up and who knows what the driving will be like.

Well I got to get going see you all later...bye

Good Evening,

Crystal, I do the same thing, I make my dough the night before, so all the mess is cleaned up before I start baking. I am making chocolate chip cookies this weekend, and that will be the last. Just basic cookies this year. Peanut blossoms, oatmeal and choc chip.

Fleece blankets are a good idea Sharon. I now have one in every office. For some reason, none of our offices get above 68. You won't eat pasta again for a while. I limit mine to a couple of tablespoons at the most.

Connie,  I am always surprised when I meet someone who is different. And believe me, I see all types at work. Most people are nice and interesting.

Dawn, I hope you get a big showing at the craft sale tomorrow.

Nancy, We just started getting snow. drive home carefully.

Hugs,

Lisa

Lisa-  I made chocolate chip cookies too.  But what I like about chocolate chip cookies is that it's versatile.  For the Christmas party tomorrow I threw in some mint chips with the regular chips...so I made chocolate chip mint cookies.  I also made regular ones too.  But what I made for Chris was take Rolos candies and balled the dough around the Rolos.  So I made Chocolate Chip cookies stuffed with Rolos.

So with a double batch of chocolate chip cookies....I made 3 different kinds of cookies.  I also sometimes throw in peanut butter chips too...those are very yummy.
