Tuesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Boy it's cold out there. After dinner last night Chris and I ran out to the store for some Christmas shopping for him. When we got back we were watching TV for awhile and he asked if I had any chocolate in the house. I said...no, unless you count bakers chocolate. He wanted to go back out for chocolate. I told him the only I was going back out in that freezing cold was if the building was on fire!!!! Hahahaha!!!! So needless to say he went without the chocolate.
Well if there was any worry about me eating that food last night...well I didn't...I couldn't. In one of my rarities my band was extra tight and after a couple of bites of chicken and one bite of potato...I just couldn't eat any more. I had that feeling if I ate one more bite I would throw up...so I didn't. Chris was all concerned. I said...hey this happens once in awhile. I am lucky, some people this happens to them all of the time. For me this happens once in a great while or when I'm upset, stressed, or extra excited....watch out when Amanda is due to come home next November....I won't be able to eat for a month!!! If you remember when Amanda was leaving I was having trouble eating and even ended up throwing up.
I have some potato leftovers from yesterday and figure I will pick up a rotisserie chicken. Easy meal for me...and for the next couple of days. I can shred up the pieces tomorrow and make soup and that will be good for couple of days.
So after work I am heading for Jewel and then I will workout. That is my whole exciting day in a nutshell...how about yours???
Gotta get back to work now...stay warm.
Good evening friends,
I went to spin this morning and then to the Woolgathering where I worked part of the day since the owner had an errand to run. I ended up staying till four since a woman came in who I had been helping and wanted more help. I get a big discount on my yarn for helping which is just fine with me. Another friend wants a pink scarf and hat for Christmas. I can get the knitting done, but it's hard to choose yarn for someone else. I hope she can come in tomorrow and choose some yarn!
Even if it snows in the AM i will probably go out. When I had to work, snow was an excuse to stay home. Now, if it's knitting, I go anyway! LOL Funny how your viewpoint changes after you retire!
Yesterday we ran up to Madison for the knitters Guild meeting. It was really fun and we love the women we've met at the Guild so even if we didn't have time to shop, it was still worth the trip!
I'm pretty much done for Christmas unless I end up knitting this hat and scarf for a friend's Christmas.
Take care and stay warm!
Connie
