FRIGID.......ICY/SNOWY.....MONDAY......I want to go with Jason to Arizona................I cant wrap my mind around this cold weather. I know...it's December, but I just hate this cold.

Hello My Little Snow Bunnies,

I am dragging a bit today. I didnt get up until 6 today. I slept in!

Well, the turkey breast was deli****ried something someone suggested and it worked. I cooked the breast upside down and turned it over one hour before it was done. I have never ate a more delish turkey. We ate like piglets and then went into the turkey coma and just snuggled and watched Homeland.

Today I have to work on year end and some other things.

Be safe and warm.............Love you all,

Sharon

Yuck on the frigid, icy/snowy, I wish we can skip snow and snow, cool...the more the merrier to Arizona, Right? Same here about the cold weather. It's December for sure, same here.

Me too. I woke up during the 6 o'clock hour, but stayed in bed until the 7 o'clock hour and I still somewhat tired.

Good to hear about the turkey breast. No wonder I smelled turkey cooking yesterday. I bet it came out delish. I love turkey and chicken. I would have ate like piglets too if the turkey came out delish.

Good luck on the year end work and other things. Not sure what to do for today (give myself a down time for today or do a few this off & on during the day).

I will keep safe & warm, you do the same,     :-) .

Have a great day today.

Jason.

Hello everyone...

I am sitting here at work eating turkey and a pickle.  I have BBQ chicken in the crockpot.

I am not too thrilled with the snow and cold.  I stayed most of the day yesterday.  I worked on making some homemade cleaners and just relaxed a bit.

Today is just work and work some more.  Then dinner at home with Chris.

Thats about it for me.  I have to get back to work.  So stay warm...see ya later bye

Sharon-  I make it just like I do my pulled pork recipe. I a package of chicken thighs a can of coke. I have used root beer too. A teaspoon of seasoned salt and pepper.  When I get home I drain the the soda.  Shread the chicken and pour in the BBQ sauce.  Turn it on high.  While that is simmering it make my sides.  It's usually ready within an hour or so. You can serve it on buns or just eat it. I just eat it. It's very tender.  I thought of throwing some potatoes in there too but I think that would ruin the flavor.  For sides tonight I am making oven baked potato wedges and biscuits...instead if rolls I figured Chris can have it with biscuits.

They are boneless skinless thighs.  I don't eat the biscuits.  Just the chicken and a little bit of potatoes.  Also, I only make dinner for Chris once or twice a week.  So it would seem like a lot...but it's not every day.

Good afternoon Sharon and the rest of Illinois!

I am trying to post, but it keeps disappearing.  If it happens again, I am heading to Facebook.

Back from the dentist.  The upper extraction site is healing well (which I figured).  the lower site is half healed and half not.  I can't even IMAGINE how horrible it would be if it was fully not healing!  He packed it with some medication and I am back to square one.  Although it is not the instant fix that some have said, he says that I should be able to get longer pain relief from the vicodin by tonight.  It should be noticeably better in a couple days.  Liv has an appointment on Wednesday and we will check it them.  The great part????  He did not charge me a thing for today's visit!

So......back to meds and rest for today and hopefully better tomorrow and able to resume activities as I need to get working on stuff for the craft show on Saturday.

Thank you all for your good thoughts and support.

Everyone stay warm and have a lovely day!

See and people wonder why I hate dentists so much.

This particular dentist is the BEST I have ever seen.  He did not SAY the words "dry socket", but since half of the two roots were exposed, that is what it was.  I feel a lot better.  When I called to leave the message this morning, I was crying like a big baby.  They took it in stride and are doing their best to fix it.  I was so surprised when I went to pay and she said, "there is no charge for today.  We just want you to be comfortable.".  THAT does not happen in the city!
