Happy Thanksgiving Roll Call

I am wishing everyone of you s Happy Thanksgiving. May you all be surrounded by family and friends, sharing in the joy of the day. You are all part of my extended family, and I love each and everyone of you. I am thankful that you are all in my life.

I want to get my hair colored this morning, plus pick up the house, before we head to Bloomington and points south. Hopefully, I will have everything done by 9. We will be back Saturday evening.Our plans for Friday will include seeing my cousin, and looking for a few presents and a microwave. Friday 
Evening we are meeting friends at O'Charlies for dinner,

Hello everyone

My sentiments exactly....you guys have become very important in my life.  Great friends and support for every stupid thing that pops up in my life.  I am very thankful for my OH family here. 

I am doing a little relaxing before I start cooking again.  Well not again...yesterday I baked.  It's surprising how long it takes to make 3 homemade cakes (basically all night).  I made a last minute cake for Chris when he said he had a potluck at work.  When I asked what he was bringing and he said he had no idea.  I said I would make a cheesecake.  I had all of the ingredients and I hadn't cleaned up from the baking for Thanksgiving.  What the heck...what are girlfriends for.  So I made him a chocolate chip cookie cheesecake.   

Today I am making mashed taters and 7 up biscuits.  That's it today.  Then we will head over to Brenda's....of course Chris has to leave to go to work after an hour or so.  But I will have some family fun like always.  And I will not be doing any shopping today!!!  I actually miss the days when EVERYTHING was closed on holidays...but that's just me.

Crystal, what are 7up biscuits? Hubert is working this morning too. Of course, he went in at 5 this morning. I do agree with you, everything should be closed all day. This is one of the few holidays that everyone shares. No religion involved.

You are an awesome girlfriend, and if he forgets it, we will remind him.

Hanging out this morning watching CBS news on Roku.  Meeting at noon then home and will whip up some ffsf pistachio pudding w/ heavy whipping cream and fold in pineapple, pecans and cherries for our part in a meal this afternoon.

Lisa and Crystal, I to totally agree!  All of you on the board are part of my Family and I am VERY thankful to have each of you in my life! You have been there with me through the good times and the bad.  I love each of you!  

 This was such a busy thanksgiving for us, We slept in this morning.  Layed around the house all afternoon.  I fixed Ricks computer after I got up otherwise I did not have access to mine.    ate some lunch, read the news on the computer and then got a blanket and layed on the couch to watch tv and fell asleep.  Now I am back up eating dinner and back on the computer.  No turkey just roasted chicken and canned fruit.  Not very hungry.  

I hope each of you had a wonderful day with your families.

I agree, you all have become my extended family. Who knew, one could fall in love so fast. I am blessed to have such loving friends.

Randy, I must have the recipe for the delish sounding dessert you mentioned in your post.

Spent the morning with G and spent the rest of the day with the babies. Michael is in, and he is so skinny from having his mouth wired. It's only been a few weeks!

G and I are getting back to the old way we were pre-Sylvia. He is opening up and is very sorry. I guess beause I am so in love with him, I'm going to have to really forgive and forget.
