Hello Lovelies,

Thanks all, for helping me pick out a sewing machine for Katie. I took everyone's advice and went with a non-plastic basic machine. I went with a Brother, because this particular model had over 3000 positive feedbacks on Amazon. Buying Katie's birthday gift always gets me going regarding shopping for the holiday. I am going to really start next weekend. Most will be online I am hoping.

Nancy, I have done fishing line to keep my tree up as well because of the cats. I dont know if you recall, but last year, Kyle had a meltdown when the tree came into the house and he started going outside his box. After spending $150 in vet bills to be told he is stressed about the tree, i about booted his behind out. But of course I did not.. This year he is going to get Bach Flower Remedies for a week before the tree even goes up.This year instead of locking him up when I bring the tree in, I am going to try having him involved. HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA

Crystal, I love wrapping my gifts pretty too. I like to add a small ornament to the outside of the gift. I have one of those electronic frames and I LOVE mine. They will get a kick out of that.

Carla, please bring sunshine when you come. It is like February outside; icy cold and snowy.

Connie, what color is the ski sweater? My daughter knitted me a hat and scarf I cheri**** My mom was in the middle of a project before she got ill. I recently gave Katie all the wool and knitting needles from my mom. She was pretty excited about finishing the project my mom started. 

Lisa, I recall my trip to Great America in St Louis with my senior class. It was a blast, and I still recall the great memories I made on the trip. Plus she gets away from this arctic freeze.

Kim, how are you faring? I am hoping you are home safe and getting some rest.

Jason, I am glad to hear you are out and about.

I finally joined Inwood Health Club and it is gorgeous. I could spend my whole day there. The pool is magnificent and the whole facility is amazing. It is worth every cent I am paying.

G is in terrible pain. He has something wrong with his foot. Today he is going to the podiatrist. It looks like an infected ingrown toe nail. It is very swollen. He is diabetic and his foot care  is so important. 

Well, my dear ones, I am off to start my day. Enjoy this day the Lord has given us.

I am sure your daughter will love her gift.  I have an antique Singer that goes forward and backward.  At the moment, it needs to be cleaned and adjusted.  I hope G's foot is not serious.

Crystal-----I loved that book.  It makes you think.  I am also hoping to read Dr. Sleep soon.

I am dyeing the shirt today and will rinse tomorrow.  I am picking up Riley this evening and she will be here to help with all the preparations for the big turkey day!
