Saturday roll call

Good afternoon friends,

I hope you are cuddled up and warm today. We are much warmer since we had the ducts cleaned out yesterday. We are flabbergasted at the difference! When I first saw ads for this I thought it was a scam. Not at all! It makes a world of difference in The air flow. We get the furnace and A/C on Tuesday-- then it will be even better. 

Kay and I went knitting today. I am almost finished with my ski sweater, just half a sleeve and both cuffs. I should finish and block tomorrow. Pics to follow!

we are cooking chicken thighs and spaghetti squash tonight. Maybe I can think of a way to make these more interesting.

Hi Connie and Friends,

Chicken thighs are my favorite. I get mine at Trader Joes frozen and pop them into the oven. It is a fast, easy and oh so yummy meal.

I was so lazy today. My plans of cleaning never came to fruition. I got up early, had coffee, started reading a book and before I knew it, it was noon. I then ran out to get a few things and came home cold and tired. Nap time! I laid down for what seemed like 20 minutes and woke up to a dark room 4 hours later! I woke up to G snoring and the cats all around me. A perfect Saturday. It feels like February not November.

I am looking forward to seeing the sweater Connie. I picture it red and white. What color is it?

I am off to make some popcorn. It has become my new fave snack. I dont air pop it, but i make it on the stove with coconut oil. It is so yummy.

Hello everyone

I have been busy decorating my house.  Everything is up except the ornament on the tree.  I know that sounds like...well isn't that everything???  But really that is a small part of my decorating.  I have so much stuff that the tree is just part of it and encompasses every room but my bedroom.  So just having to put the ornament on the tree is like being in the home stretch.  Hahahaha!!!  And the funny thing is Chris has no idea how much I decorate...I think he will be surprised. 

Today I ran over for last minute decorating needs at Walmart.  I also ate Chipotle again because there was too much chaos going on to make lunch.  I am just now sitting down to relax.  But it's done.  And just think I only live in an one bedroom apartment...hahaha!!!

I have time to do laundry but really I am too pooped to do laundry.  I will do it tomorrow.  I am going to do some clean up and then call it a day.
