Hello Dear Ones,

It is still dark outside. I couldnt sleep. I think it's that big gorgeous moon out there.

Today I have my first staff meeting. I've been so busy I havent had a chance to prepare. I am going to go in early and work on it. I have the list of things to discuss, but the gals asked for an agenda, so I have to type it up.

Can I ask a question??? Does anyone look in the yellow pages for a surgeon? These docs are so old fashioned. I told them yesterday they are wasting $675 a month advertising in the yellow pages. I'm like, "everyone uses a smart phone these days or the computer. I cannot believe they think people choose their colorectal surgeons from the yellow pages. LOL

I have to start Christmas shopping. UGH!

Hello everyone

I think this will be a low key day at work....translation....boring.  I really do like the excessive busy days.

After work I have grocery shopping to do.  I am switching over to Jewel now...might as well get used to it.  I do like the fact they have an aisle devoted to organic/gluten free items.  I am really trying to cut out the trips to Walmart.  I really have to stop shopping there.  It's just that there is one less than mile from my house so it's convenient.  I also have to stop off at Walgreens...if my Rx it ready. 

My green-eyed monster will be snarling.  I just found out Chris's best friend will be getting married next year and Chris is part of the wedding party.  It has been insinuated that there will be strippers at the bachelor party....a party that Chris pretty much has to go to...Grrr!!!  I'm really not going to like that!!!  I guess I should be glad Chris warned me...he could have tried to hide it from me and lie.  My response was...well I guess if you're forced, you won't enjoy it at all then...hahaha!!!  I know I'm a smart ass.  But really is there a straight man out there that won't enjoy a naked woman dancing in front of them???  So I just don't want the pretense.  And I am wondering how things would be if things were reversed and it was me that was "forced" to see a male stripper???

Sharon-  honestly the last two doctors I had I went to them based word of mouth from friends or coworkers.  As far as a specialty like colorectal...I would probably be going where my doctor referred me.  But as far as a actual yellow pages book...I don't even keep one in my house any more (I haven't for years).  It's extra crap I don't need.  Like you said if I want to look up something I use my phone.

The sky is a beautiful mix of pinks and grayish blue. What a pretty sunrise.

I need to get going this morning, I want to do a few things before I go to work. My boss is sending me to Ottawa again today. I wanted to go to LaSalle to do some shopping at Big Lots, but that isn't going to happen today. 

I started working on my next quilt last night, afterI made a batch of cookies. The quilt is going to be black and white, squares, oblongs and triangles. Its the biggest one I have tackled. I will share pictures as I proceed.

Hello Everyone!

Happy Hump Day!

As I was writing a check tonight it sunk in that it is the 20th of November.  Christmas is just 46 days away!    That means lots of shopping, cold weather, snow, parties, all the hectic times that goes with the holidays.  I am not ready to begin the madness.  

I wrote OH about all the double print that shows up on the web site and they wrote back saying they do not see it.   I was able to send them an example.  They then ask what type of phone or laptop I was using.    Hello, I use a desktop computer, Windows 7 operating system and Chrome browsing.  All of what they suggested to try, except for the portable access.  Are they forgetting that some of us may choose to be old fashioned and log in from a desktop?  

I am still coughing my head off.  Almost no voice.  That makes talking all day fun.  My supervisor asks me today why I was there.  Well, I wanted to say I want to get paid as I have not been paid while on leave, I am in enough ho****er without giving you more ammunition to fire me, etc.  Geesh.  Give me credit for dragging my body in.  

Sharon, I have to say I have looked at yellow pages for names of doctors or for phone numbers and addresses.  I then take those names to research them online and to ask opinions of others.  Again, I do not have an I phone so do not have the luxury like Crystal of searching like she does 

Lisa, sorry you got stuck in Ottawa today.  Hope it was a good day. A black and white quilt sounds VERY striking!

Crystal, I hope your work was not too boring today.  I know guys have all kinds of stag parties.  Sometimes they just talk about things but never follow through.  Ask Chris how he would feel if you and a bunch of girls went to a male strip club act?  I know a lot of times there are groups that do.  For me that does not hold my interest.  I guess I would not care if Rick went to one.  Nothing is going to happen at that party in a group.  Or at least I do not think so.  I figure if that is what turns him on then yuk.  I am not going to be jealous over some person that has low morals that is willing to strip for money. 

Kay, my vote is for that wreath!  Your color scheme sounds great!  I cant wait to see pictures of your  Norwegian  sweater.

i am in the hospital because of my echo test and stress test went bad for me yesterday. i am doing better today. i will update more when i am back home from the hospital.

Nancy, I think it's. 35 days till Christmas so speed up your shopping! My kids want $ so I don't have to do much. I've made scarves and socks for a few friends. I even have a few ideas for Kay but she is very hard to shop for and I guess I am too!
