Tuesday Roll Call??

Hey there Illinois!

Almost 4 pm and no one has checked in....or is it the site.

Well.....here goes.......I had a nice weekend, normal but nice.  We had some friends from Todd's softball team over for the game on Sunday and the weather here was drizzly but fine.  I was very concerned about many of my friends, including you all.

Yesterday was not too exciting.  In the end, I went to a friend's house for a chili supper and they gave me a cupcake with a candle and all sang to me.

Today, I am doing all the housework I refused to do yesterday and packaging up some of my products for a craft show/open house.

Dinner will be cheeseburgers after I pick Liv up from Cheerleading practice.

That's about it.

Thinking of everyone and all the different struggles.  Hope things will work out.  they always do......one way or another.

Hi folks, 

I didn't get on til now because I was knitting.   Making a ski sweater , kind of a dark teal with a white design. The pattern was written in Norwegian so I mostly had to guess, but there was a chart of the design. I'll post this when it's further along. 

Nothing else going on here. I hope every one is safe from the weather!

Good Afternoon,

I just got home from work, it was a slow day, almost boring. 

We are having leftover roast for dinner, mashed potatoes some gravy, and 2 veggies, one is leftover corn, not sure what else.

Am I weird, or just efficient? I already have my clothes and jewelry out for tomorrow. I will also have my lunch ready to go for morning. I have always done this, but talking to some of the girls at work, no one else seems to do this.

I think cookies will be made on Sunday. I want to take some down south, and that will be the only time I will be able to bake.

Lisa-  setting out my clothes for the next day is part of my bedtime ritual.  I watch the news see the weather will be like and plan accordingly.  I believe that is why I am not rushed in the morning and can relax and take my time.   

Hello everyone

I had a busy day at work or I would have popped over and started roll call.  I had my last training class day....last that I know anyway.  So I had to come in and get my work done ASAP and then run off to class.  But of course my monitor acted up and I lost 45 minutes of time....grrrr!!!!  But in the end I got it done.

I am having leftover turkey burgers today and potato soup.  That's fast and easy. 

Later this week I am going to the Moose Lodge with Chris and his Aunt for dinner....they are members.  I never went to a Moose Lodge to eat....what do they have for food??? Something tells me it's all fried and unhealthy.  We shall see.  I was planning pot roast that night but his aunt invited us to this and he apparently forgot about the pot roast plans and I like his aunt so what the heck. I can move the pot roast to another day.  

Speaking of Chris's aunts...he has one that lives in Washington....but is lucky that her house has minimal damage.

It depends on the Lodge. Many of them have bar fare and others might have just snacks and sammies. The Moose that Dave was a member of had a to die for fish fry on Fridays and then they had once a month Prime Rib or Surf and Turf dinners. You might want to ask your host who is inviting you.

A cup cake with a candle is perfect...just the right size!!!  You can't possibly over eat!!!

And I didn't even eat it all!  Afterwards....Nick (Liv's boyfriend) showed me a mini-cupcake that would have been perfect!

I had such a busy day today. I am amazed at the amount of work there is. I LOVE THIS JOB. I have never worked for such nice people. One of the docs is a bible thumping Christian and does missions work 2 times per year in third world countries. The other dude is just plain nice. I feel like i died and went to heaven. The staff is cool too.

I am so glad everyone is well and there was no serious damage with the storm. The patients keep coming in and telling stories that are pretty scary.

I am feeling pretty good. The cough is 90% gone and the headache finally is also gone.

What is everyone doing for Turkey Day? I am trying to get our son in. He has decided he wants to come home, even tho he cant eat with a wired jaw. He and G will go to Englewood and see G's parents. I am going to my daughter's and spending it with the grand babies. It will be the first time we wont be together. But it works better this way this year.

Lisa, every night, I say I am going to get my outfit ready and every night i forget. All my clothes are hanging up clean, so that's easy. My problem is accessories. I always wind up wearing the same earrings because I never plan it very well. I forget the matching scarf or necklace.
