Monday Roll Call
What a storm! I missed it, but I heard the winds were high. Nancy and Lisa was there much damage by you? My friends in Coal City said the damage was bad. It knocked out the only restaurant in town. Took the roof off. I am hoping this storm missed our northern friends.
I have a busy day at work today. G is home with his sciatic/pinched nerve. He had the nerve to ask me if I would stay home and take care of him. HA! I know my reaction sounds mean, but really?!?!??!?
I feel a bit better today, must have been the sleeping. I dont recall much of Sunday.
Well, dear ones, be safe today.
Hugs,
Sharon
OH is acting up......I had my message typed and it deleted it and then would only let me type one letter at a time without it changing pages on me. Grrrr! I'm off to the airport soon. I so don't want to go on this trip, but it may be a good thing as things are not good here in the Markham household!
Hope everyone has a wonderful week. I'll try and check in, but no guarantees. I hate not knowing if I won't have wifi. Be safe out there. Later

Good morning!
What a day weather wise! I hope all of you are safe. We didn't get much here, not even wind, but the pictures of destruction are unbelievable!
I don't have any plans today. I finished reading the paper and did the crossword puzzle (usually Kay's job, but she left to teach before the paper came). Of course there is always picking up the house, but since we have the same tolerance for clutter (almost none), it doesn't take long.
I am thinking about all of you, especially those struggling with relationships. I've been there and I know what that's like.
Enjoy your Monday,
Connie

Hello everyone
I'm at work like alway...my typical busy Monday. Thought I would take the time really quick shoot over here to say hi.
Yesterday was a day spent indoors. After I ran over to Bolingbrook. Chris didn't want me in Joliet without a basement...hahaha!!! So I spent the day there. I didn't get home till pretty late...11pm. I just didn't want to leave the warm cozy house.
Today is not very exciting. Work, working out, home, eating dinner. I am making my turkey burgers. I love them so I make them frequently. Thank goodness they are healthy. They aren't as good as the one I had at Rock Bottom...that was a good turkey burger, I will have to get back there sometime. So what you all up to today???
Well I going to get back to work. Hope you all have a good day...see ya later. Bye
Just a quick fly-by, I have soup on for supper. Hubert doesn't know if he wants that or not, so I told him there are leftovers in the frig.
We had wind, wind and more wind. Did I mention wind? We got over an inch of rain, but nothing else. I stay home all day and vegged. I di finish my newest rug, started on a black and white quilt for our king sized bed, and cooked.
Today, went to work, now I am going to watch a Christmas movie then go to bed. We were busy today, just steady all day, the way we like it.
Kim, I hope things work out for you.
Crystal, you have a great guy, if he didn't want you to stay in your apartment, he will be there for you.
Nancy, did you go back to work today?
Happy Birthday Dawn.
BTW, the facebook roast is delish. Even Hubert approved of it.
Sharon, I would of laughed too. Hubert knows better then asking me to nurse him. It is not in my genes,
Connie, how naughty of you to do the puzzle.
Hugs,
Hello Everyone!
I hope everyone is safe and sound. We had VERY high winds yesterday 60 - 65 mph. Close by they were 75 mph. LOTS of rain, hail and a little bit of this and that. We stayed safe and dry except for Smokey and Fluffer who were in the catio when the storm struck. Fluffer was no longer fluffy when he and Smokey came barreling inside. Smokey was pretty wet as well. But that has not stopped them from going back outside after the storms were oer. Nothing like a cat coming inside and snuggling up to you with ice cold paws and ears. They all did their share of cuddling me and babysitting me while I have been in bed. Gizzy was my most faithful companion. I finally remembered to ask Rick to give him treats as he was not getting any. He is my treat beggar.
For the first time in over 2 weeks I actually feel human today. I did not go to work. I was still feeling really crummy yesterday and could not sit up for more than 2 hours. I knew I would never make it through a work day today. I will go in tomorrow. I think I can survive the day. Or at least try.
Rick is now the sick one. I feel bad as he got it from me. He was so kind to me while I was sick playing nursemaid. Now I go back to work and leave him on his own. But since he is a typical guy and a real wimp when he gets even the sniffles I dont think I want to be around him if he feels really bad. So the cats can take care of him.
It sounds like most of you had a pretty good day. Sharon tell G that I am sorry about his back. I can relate to slipped discs, eroded discs and siatia. Kim I hope thing get better for you. Maybe time away will help put things in perspective. Crystal, that was sweet of Chris to worry about you. Enjoy it. Lisa and Connie it sounds like you had full days. Dawn my thoughts are with you. Jason, keep us posted on your testing and new surgery dates.
Everyone have a great Tuesday!
