Sunday Roll Call

This weather sux. It rained so hard here all day yesterday. There was no way I could even think about decorations. I even canceled my hair appointment. There is no way after being so sick for so long that I am going out in this weather.But,  I will go to church today.

G went to the chiro and he has a disk issue. The pain runs down his left leg and his foot gets numb. They adjusted him and he will be seeing the chiro everyday for awhile. He cant even stand up straight.

Being sick for so long, my house needs a good deep cleaning. I think I am going to have to just start cleaning mornings before work to catch up. . Yesterday I stayed on the couch all day, fatigued and coughing. I cant wait for this bronchitis to be over with. It has been hanging on for far too long.

I wish I had some good news to report, but I cant think of anything.................the anilmals are great. There that's good news.

Nancy, I am so sorry that you are still feeling bad. Stay in bed, and let Rick take care of you. I am also so sorry about your Mitzi. We have had to do that a few times ourselves. Hubert won't let me do it, he always takes them. That is one of the reasons he won't let us have any more pets.

Sharon, I am glad you are finally 99% over your bout also. I hope G gets the relief he needs.

Crystal, what are your plans for today?

It was nice seeing both Christine and Karla posting yesterday. We miss you both. Now, if we ccould get Randy to post again.

I spent a nice time yesterday with my Annette. Then we went out to dinner. I had cod. Always good,

Today I am making that crockpot roast that has been on facebook the last few weeks,

We didn't finish the outside yesterday, and today  its going to rain and get high winds. So, we won'y finish today either.

Hello everyone

Yesterday was a fun day...even though the weather sucked.  Chris and I picked up the kids and we drove over to wisconsin to the Mars Cheese Castle.  He bought over $60 worth of cheese.  I joked that he won't be able to poop for months with all that cheese...hahaha!!!  I wanted to see if they had any special smoked cheese for Amanda.  The only cheese they had that was "shelf stable" as they put it...was in a gift set that cost $40.  I only wanted the cheese not all the crap that came with it.  So I only walked away with cheddar and mozzarella.  One of the boys got chocolate covered bacon...yuck.  

We had  late lunch/dinner out and got back and just hung out.  I didn't get home till after 9pm.  And I got tired really quick and went to bed.  

Today, I'm not sure what we are doing.  It's up in the air.  I suggested to Chris that we take the boys to the dollar theater.  They have a couple of kids movies playing.  We will see.  I bought this Aunt Annie's pretzel kit from a friend at work...her kid was having a fundraiser.  Well I am bringing that over today so the boys and Chris can have fun with that.  I don't like that so I will just help make it.  But right now I am still putzing around here and just took a shower.  I need to get my butt in gear.  

I forgot to mention I dyed my hair Friday.  I went back to my dark hairr.  No more blond.  My hair was just getting way too dried out and there was so much breakage.  I use such good salon quality products and nothing was helping.  I had to either stop straightening my hair or dyeing it blond.  So no more blond.  I didn't say anything to Chris.  I was wondering what he would say.  Come to find out...he says he actually prefers brunettes???  Really???  I never knew that.  Who knew???  Well now I am a brunette...hahaha!!!  Needless to say he loves the "new" me....which is the REAL me.  I'm not a blond.

I guess we are under a tornado watch but here the sky isn't dark and there's a hint of sun from time to time. It's supposed to last all day and be for all of greater Chicagoland. I've heard some thunder, but no rain and it certainly doesn't look ominous. We'll see. I wasn't planning to go out today anyway. More knitting to do, of course. And I'm hoping the Packer game will be on TV later.

Sharon and Nancy, I hope you both feel better quickly. It's awful to be sick and still have stuff to do. I hope the rest of you are enjoying the weekend.

I missed the storm. I came home from church and fell asleep. I slept thru the winds. It's 5:30 and I think I am going to take a hot shower, put on my jammies and go back to bed. G'nite. .Hugs, Sharon

Good Morning Everyone!

I am feeling more human today.  We will see how long that lasts.  I got up at 4am and was very hot and coould not breathe.  I ended up laying down on the couch and fell back aslee***** has it too.  

We have had extremely windy and rainy weather today.  Even hail.  Unusual for November/  

I think I am going to try to work tomorrow.  I have been gone for 2 weeks.  We shall see depending on how the day progresses.  

This is Buffy's brat day.  She has been into everything~  The things this cat thinks of to do is amazing.  She loves Ricks desk.  I finally convinced him to get some plastic containers that have drawers to protect the items she likes to go after.  Now she OPENS the drawers to get at her favorite "toys" 

Sharon, I hope you get over this bronchitis soon.  It sucks.

Lisa, I am sorry you did not get all your decorations up but today is not the day to do it.  

Crystal, I am glad you had fun yesterday.  That is great that Chris prefers brunettes.

This has turned out to be one of the worst days in my life!!!  Big changes ahead.  I just can't deal with this crap anymore.  Yes, I'm going to Anaheim , CA tomorrow.  It's 7:30 and I still haven't packed!  My emotions are all over the place.  If I had the money to file for divorce tomorrow, I would!  I have stayed strong for way to long.  I don't believe in giving up and walking away, but when it comes to protecting my one and only child, I will!!  Your damn if you do, and damn if you don't.  It scares me to death to be a statistic, but I have to keep any self worth I have!  Well, it looks like I know what I'm spending my bonus money on!  I guess braces for Maddie can wait!  Sorry for venting, but needed to and wanted to post before I left for Anaheim.
