Friday roll call

Hi folks,
No allergies, just incredibly dry skin and medication to clear it up. Should bring my own sheets to hospital, but I have no plans to need to be in hospital again!

Still in Madison trying to decide if I need to shop anywhere before I come home. So tempting!

I could find stuff to do in Madison, I love that city.

I have dry skin also, my doctor suggested to use vaseline lightly on it. It works, but I know a scrip would work better.

I did get the rest of the flowers pulled up yesterday. Now the yard looks bare and ready for winter. Of course, the holiday stuff will be out in less then a month.

Today, heading for the store and cleaners. We are meeting friends for dinner. Nothing else is happening.

I am working on a computer project for the hubby. He needs a lot of labels done, and since we just bought a new office program, it is helping me learn it. This is going to come in handy, since I am on the committee for our 50th class reunion, and I suggested the name tags to use.

Hello everyone

I got my car back!!! Yeah!!!  I am so happy....I am dancing

 

So I will celebrate by running errands!!!  And going to Chipotle!!! Then I will go workout...and come home and relax. 

I am also happy because Chris is coming tonight and we are spending most of the day together tomorrow ****il 4-5pm).  His son's birthday is tomorrow and he will be at the party...it's at his ex's house.  Of course I'm not invited...it's still too new.  Maybe after we're together for awhile she will feel more comfortable around me.  There was one birthday of Amanda's that I invited her father and his wife...so I have done it before (been in "her shoes" so to speak)  If anything it seems like I have in the past handled things much better than she has with me.  But then again not every can be as open minded and wonderful as I am...hahaha.  I am kidding.  It really is because I was completely over my ex...and could careless. 

My vacuum is not working right.  The rotator brush isn't rotating.  I have a Dyson...and this vacuum has out lasted any vacuum I have ever had.  I have this thing...I break vacuums.  I have gone through about a vacuum every other year since I was 16.  This one is 4 years old.  I have become quite the vacuum mechanic over the years...as you can imagine.  I will change belts no problem...but Dysons don't have belts.  So after thorough cleaning and my best effort...its still not working.  I will have to call the company.  There is a 5 year warranty.  I just hate calling companies...ugh.  Maybe Chris can look at it tomorrow..LOL

Hi all. Having a good day here in suburban Chicagoland. Picked up my friend from the hospital and brought her home to rest - it felt good to help someone that I love through something that I have been through myself. I also went to my shrink and we agreed I need to kick up my meds a bit to see if that helps the depression that has been creeping over me in the last 8 weeks. He is so supportive and really listens to what I have to say about where my brain chemistry is at. I can't tell you how relieved I was NOT to have to make a federal case about whether or not my dosage (which PS is below the normal therapeutic threshold - or was until today lol) needed to be increased. Weight and mental health still have such stigmas attached to them. Whenever I feel supported in either struggle I just feel so much better about the world. Yay.

In other news I closed a big deal at work, bought a small desk online for our bedroom, that I'm going to use as a dressing table, and picked up some more bariatric puddings for my evening snack/sweet tooth satisfaction. It works for me. Planning on ditching work now and go play with my babies until Daddy gets home. Think I'm making chicken tonight for dinner - a yummy low card recipe a friend posted on FB the other day. We'll see how it goes.

I work for a construction company in the accounting department.
