Tues Roll Call

My it is nippy today. I am soooo glad I turned the heat on last night. There was frost on the grass. Does that mean the fleas are dead????

I spoke to the ladies at my church yesterday who have been praying for me. Two are pastors. One is married to our main pastor and she offered to do a couples thing with her husband. My husband agreed.

Last night he spilled his guts and told me he was relieved I knew. He said he has had a headache everyday since he started talking to Silvia. He said it started when he fixed her computer and she started calling him for other stuff like fixing a garage light and then a drain. He said they were friends in HS and at first it was innocent. He said it became flirting and he was content with that. But then she started calling him a lot and needing him more and it became like a second job. (I almost burst out laughing when he described it like that) He said she was available and liked to make him special drinks made from rum ( I dont drink) She once invited him to a party that she told him a few friends from HS were attending and when he got there, no one was there. He said it was weird and thats when he started pulling away. He said he got in over his head and stopped returning her calls and texts about a week ago. He said that is when she broke down on the highway and that is when I discovered the old phone bills and confronted him.  Last night she texted him 3 times and he ignored her until he got the last one. Then he called her and asked her to stop texting him. He said he loves me and wants to work on his marriage, that I was hurt and it bothered me. She didnt take it well.  She texted him again this morning about 4am and told him she wants to talk to him. He fixed his phone to not get anymore of her calls or texts. I am not happy that this happened. I know my husband loves me, but this is not acceptable. I'd love to wring his neck but know I cant. I hope this is the end of this. She lives in New Lenox not far from us. I am hoping she doesnt come over here.

As Carla say, the coffee pot is calling me.

You got that right. Me too. It's that time of the yea nowto bring out the thermals out and start wearing them. If that doesn't kill the fleas I don't know what will.

Hello everyone

I am doing nothing today...why...I have no car.  So it's work and working out pretty much every day this week.  Until my car is fixed.  I hate not having a car...ugh.  I feel like me freedom has been taken away from me. 

Chris is enjoying his new job...just not the commute. 

Sharon-  It's funny you did what I was saying to do before you even read my post.  I figured G would want to work on your marriage.  You guys seemed like such a great couple.  And this woman....  She is just wrong on all levels.  not only actively pursuing a married man but even trying trick, manipulate whatever you want to call it.  When a married man asks you to stop contacting him and you continue...she's got problems.  I think more than lacking morality...she has some chemical imbalance issues in the brain.  If I were you I would be a little more alert of my surroundings, just in case she does decide to confront you.   

Anyway...with my piddly little problem.  I did tell Chris last night how I felt about him talking about that woman being beautiful.  I know it's my insecurities but I don't like hearing it.  He said how can I be jealous of a woman that is now in her 80's.  And I said it's not about jealousy...it's about your standards of beauty and me worried about not living up to them.  He said that I was beautiful and that I not only live up to his standard of beauty but I am beyond it.  He said everything right.  But you know deep down I still have that insecurity...will that ever go away???  I want to make myself believe what he is saying.  He was being so sweet and loving...

Sharon, I think you and G are on a good path. It will work out.

Crystal, as a friend, don't over think this. Chris knows you are alive and a beautiful person. You are letting the fat little girl rule your brain. You are the one he wants, not a beauty queen who would never give him the time of day! Ok, he is cute, but not rich.

Jason, surgery of any type is scary. but 3 more? Space them out.

Sounds like you had a good day today.

You got that right about any type (kind) of surgery is scary. Yup, this one coming up and three more. After I have this surgery done, I'll wait to have my following surgery in the Spring time at some point. I will sapce them out. Thank you for looking out for me, I appreciat that.

Good Evening Everyone!

Well, snow in October makes me want to leave Illinois PRONTO!  I could not believe it when I went on break today and the ground was white and these HUGE snowflakes were falling!  Thankfully by the time I got off work it had turned to rain.  I am NOT ready for winter yet!  GO AWAY WINTER!  Fall just arrived a week ago!  For pete's sake, someone has a rotten sense of humor!  

So far I am still employed.  That may only be because the HR person has been absent both days this week.  I did get a couple of references yesterday which is a good thing.  My time has also gone down this past week so now I am only 15 seconds over goal.  Go figure.   So I am still left hanging.  

Sharon, I am so glad you have things out in the open with G.  It sounds like things will work out.  I d think that this Sylvia is out to cause problems and at least with your help G can be strong and ignore her.  I did laugh when he referred to her requests as a second job!  That does show just how little he thinks of her.  

Jason, I hope your doctors appointment went well today. 

Crystal, isn't it funny that when we are car less we can thing of all kinds of places to go when most nights we are content to stay at home.  Somehow that dumb piece of machinery is equated with our freedom.  How long are you "grounded"?  

Lisa, I hope you made it to Bloomington and back safely and that the snow did not go that far south.

Same here. Not by me today, just some rain and may be a snowflake or two. That good that it went from snow to rain as long as it doesn't freeze. Me too, I'm not ready for Winter yet. Yeah Winter go away! Fall did just arrived  a week or so ago. That's Mother Nature and Old Man Winter for you.

That's great news for you, I'm so very happy for you. I wish all the very best for you in many ways.

My Appointment went well for me today, thank you. No more appointment for now until I have my Chiari surgery.

:-) ...I just hope I can make it over the hump on hump day, Same goes for Sally the camel.
