Saturday Roll Call
Good Morning,
So what is everyone up to today?
I am going to finish cleaning up the pantry, then hopefully going outside and start taking down the garden. It is time to put it to sleep for the winter.
I also have at least 3 other things that need to be worked on. Maybe.
Hubert wants steaks for dinner tonight. I am going to put a dry rub on them and let them sit until this evening. Not sure what will be served with them yet, but as always, I will decide on something.
Have a great day,
Hugs,
So far this morning I went to K-Mart to pick up an Nintendo DS game called "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire". I'll be going for a walk soon to get some more sunshine on me and for the rest of the day I'll be playing it by ear. My aunt will come over this afternoon to help me fill out some paperwork for the hospital and my aunt and her husband will help me to put some plastic covers on my windows for the Winter to I can keep the cold air out and the warm air in. Also I need to vacuum the rugs in my apartment at some point over the weekend.
I guessI could do that too with my pantry, that's one thing I don't like when it's that time of the year to put stuff up for the Winter, that depressing.
Oh man...steak, I haven't had a steak in a long time. It seems that potatoes and carrots would be good to go with the steak let alone a sweet potatoe and carrots along with a salad, may be soup too.
Thanks, you too have a great day.
Hugs.

Hi friends!
We went knitting this morning--the last Saturday at the Bookworm. An era changes--next week we will be at the Woolgathering, a newer local yarn shop. It will be interesting, but totally not the same. As I learned as a child: it's a mark of leadership to adjust!
We got a phone call today from a doc who I used to work with and he invited us over tonight for a small party--he has 2 yo twins and can't do a lot of advanced planning! LOL So I am really looking forward to this--it will be fun.
So far, no plans for tomorrow, but who knows?

Good Evening Everyone
I am just hanging out this weekend. My job is still hanging by a thread. I should find more out next week. I did draw up a list of reasons they should keep me including $$$ saved as they do not pay my health insurance and hiring anyone new will cost money to train that person and it will take years for them to catch up on my knowledge.
Tonight in the local paper I found a perfect job for me. I will be sending in my resume immediately. We shall see what will come of it. I meet their qualifications, including knowing CRM which is the computer system we work with at office max. This is with a company that manufactures eye charts and contacts . We shall see if anything comes of it. They are asking for a mature person. Needless to say I fit THAT bill!
Buffy got her stitches removed yesterday. She is still a little pistol. Her favorite play area is the bathtub and she takes her favorite toys there to play. She is rarely quite but the last few nights I have awakened with her curled up in my arms under the covers.
Rick has been the bad guy taking her to the vets. Fluffer has now decided that Rick is his best friend. He now trusts him and is starting to curl up on his lap. This is pleasing Rick to no end and Fluffer has run from him in the past.
No special plans for the weekend for this girl.
Everyone have a great weekend!
