Call From The Hospital.

I got a phone call today (10/17/2013) from the hospital and I was told that my Chiari surgery has been called off for now for another date. I wasn't hope when I got the call on my cell phone and I asked what dates do they have for me to choose from and I asked this person that called me to e-mail the potential surgical dates so I can go over the dates with my family and the schedule. So, I picked a date for 11/12/2013, now I have to wait until tomorrow (I hope) for the official word from the surgeon office to be penciled in. The reason I was bump from the 10/24/2013 surgery date is that there are two people that are being winged from chemotherapy so the two people could have a brain tumor removed. Which I do understand. Plus I think it's a good thing that my surgery date have been bump because it does feels like I'm coming down with a cold or something for the last few days to a week now. I'll try to give an update on my new surgery date as soon as I get it.

I hope everyones day went well for you today. Yesterday I finally had a down day all to myself with a litte somethig to do and the same for today too. Tomorrow I'll be playing my day by ear and by e-mail/phone call.

I am so sorry.  It is hard to get yourself psyched up only to have this postponed.  That prolongs the jitters.   As Sharon says though. things happen for a reason and now you have more time to prepare.  I sure hope the new date works out better!  Hugs.
