Tuesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

It looks like a gloomy day today.  And of course these rainy days mess with my sinuses.  I'm still not sure why.  I always laugh because you know how old people always say they can feel they rain coming because of there arthritis....I always say my nose is the same way.

I had a nice 1/2 day off yesterday.  It was a nice Monday...where I didn't have to rush, rush because of the bank holiday.  Of course I am paying for that today.  It was nice while it lasted. 

Today is nothing but work and working out...how about you guys???

The pictures are beautiful. How long have they been gone and when do they come back? Do you think they will do another tour with the Peace Corp?

Yes, it was a gloomy day. Now is a bit of sun and brightness, but we know it isn't going to last.

These have been a couple of quiet days at wor****ep waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Update- my cousin Cynthia is going to a infornational meeting on Nov 23rd. She is excited.

My Monica is in Baltimore for training this week. She gets to go again in January Ithink,

Lisa-  No they won't do another tour.  The Peace Corp by the way only allows 2 life time tours.  Interestingly...I guess to make room for new people.  It is believe it or not very hard to get in.  It was harder to for her to get into the Peace Corp then to get into college.  There were so many more hoops to jump.  It was more of a challenge

I don't know the exact date they will be back but it will be around Christmas 2014

Good evening!

I got my hair cut this morning and then hung out at the Bookworm knitting for a while. It will be sa when they close.  I just can't imagine. Kay did some shopping and got her hair cut later. We are having leftovers from Door County for dinner and then I have all the mail to look through, especially some magazines I enjoy. So this will be a quiet night. otherwise, there's not much going on here. I hope everyone is K

Hi Dear Friends,

It sounds like everyone is dealing with a cool wet day.

I guess fall is really here..........

I got the pleasure of going to an "old folks" home and hang out with seniors this evening. It was a blast. They were so enjoyable. We sang worship songs and prayed for people. I did it with my women's group. Our age range is from 23-60. A great group of ladies. 

I came home to a big vat of chicken rice soup that I made in the crock pot. It hit the spot.

I'm feeling a little achy I have a UTI and hope I can get rid of it quickly. I hate when they linger.

I am getting excited about going back to work. It will be nice to have a few extra pennies in my pocket
