Well hi!

It's after four and no one has posted, at least according to my computer. We just got home and are diligently putting things away instead of waiting a few days. We brought home enough leftovers for several days. Since Kay is having company Wednesday for dinner and bunco, it will be Thursday or later before we have to prepare food for us and there will probably be bunco food left over as well. tonight we are having leftover swordfish--one of my favorites and the way it was prepared last night, was as tender as could be.We mostly drove around and looked at trees and bushes, knit, read, talked and napped. Fabulous, just fabulous. It was fairly cool and I could have taken a medium coat, but I layered jean jackets with polartec jackets and managed to stay warm enough. We bought a cape to share at the Irish store since we didn't get any in Ireland. We also hit the yarn store in Sturgeon Bay and helped the economy there! .

The rest of the week is just normal with a haircut, knitting and so forth. I hope you had a nice weekend and taht at least some of you had today as a holiday.

Connie

Hi, Just cannot seem to always get on in the mornng.

Connie, we are having leftovers tonight too, from what we ordered yesterday, and I had Fridays leftovers for lunch today. tomorrow I am taking a cabbage roll for lunch, I put them in the freezer last week specially for lunches. As well as a couple of other things. Stew will go in the crock pot in the morning for dinner tomorrow night, and lunch on Wed.

A very quiet day day today, not to many clients.

My cousin Cynthia will be attending an introduction meeting in January. I am so excited for her. She will be going to the Kane Center and hopfully Dr. Guskie.

Nancy, whatever happens with your job, it isn't your fault. That is what these corporations want you to think, You can only do what you are able to do.

Dawn, you had a good weekend I hope.

Jason, what were  you up to this weekend. Randy? Get up and join in.

Crystal, your weekend sounded like a lot of fun. Downs children are always so lovable.

Sharon, I know you were busy over the weekend.

Hugs to all,

Lisa

Evening All

What a change in the weather this morning!  Fall is here!  At least we had the sun out today and by afternoon it was really nice outside.  We had a fire drill at 3 pm and I was like "Do we really have to go back inside?  It is so nice outside"  Of course I got through with work at 3:30.

I will say this, Office Max will have to fire me.  I refuse to quit.  I think they are just full of it and it is absolutely ridiculous to expect us to service customer in under 5 minutes no matter what the problem is.  In fact 70  -75% of my calls  average under the 5 minute mark even on my worst days.  So if this is not good enough then that is their problem.  I do not think they would like me to hang up on the customer or refuse to help them.  A lot of times I am cleaning up someone else's mess where they were "helped" in a hurry.

I need the job and will not quit.  The will have to fire me.  And I will consider a lawsuit against them for age discrimination and for other issues such as a hostile work environment.

Connie. that was a quick trip up north.  It sounds like you had a great time.

Lisa, enjoy your visit with your cousin.   Also enjoy the quiet at work while it lasts.

Jason, take it one day at a time.  Try not to over think the surgery.  That is easier said than done.

Dawn, I hope things are doing better between you and Todd.

Crystal, positive vibes for Chris as he starts his new job.  That is so exciting.

Randy, you can post in the evenings as well as the mornings.

Sharon, I know you are busy meeting yourself coming and going.  Find time for yourself as well.

Everyone have a great day tomorrow.

Good evening,

You got that right. Yup. We sure did get the sun today just like that song "Here Comes The Sun" by George Harrison. This afternoon was nice today. Wow! Really?

Sounds wild (don't get me wrong).

You got to do what you got to do.

That's what I'm doing is by taking each day one day at a time. I'll try not over think the surgery. The day of the surgery I'll ask the surgeon if I can get a new brain and if he says "no" then I'll floow the yellow brick road and as Oz for the new brain (ha ha ha). Yup.

Thank you, you too have a great day tomorrow.
