Thursday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Today is Amanda's birthday.  I can't talk to her because she is in the middle of a rain forest.  So I can't even wish her Happy Birthday.  I sent her a package with all kids of goodies.  I'm sure it will take forever to get there. 

Today...is more errands.  I didn't finish everything I wanted to do yesterday.  So more of the same as yesterday.  I also ended staying late yesterday for a special project.  So that's why things didn't get done. 

So what are you up to today???

Hi folks!

I went to knit today at Woolgathering and enjoyed that. I've got to finish packing to go to Door County tomorrow. It's about half done. I'd like to go out to dinner but Kay wants a BLT. It remains to be seen what we do and also how many papers she has to grade for tomorrow.

Happy Birthday to Amanda!  This is also the birthday of my niece (24th) but she died when she was 7.

I spent yesterday making some tie dye for some friends with babies and a couple who got married last month. 

Spent today rinsing.  Turns out, one of the shirts was 100% polyester.......dye completely washed out.  Had to run to the store to get a new shirt and will now have to re-do it.  UUUGGGGGHHHHHH!

Tomorrow is "Grandparent's Day" at Riley's school, so we are going there for lunch.  Today is My daughter's 10th anniversary and I will be the DD for their party on Saturday.

Liv came home today in an extremely bad mood.  She is her father's daughter as she REFUSES to talk about it.  I keep telling her that I CAN'T ATTEMPT TO FIX IT if she won't tell me the problem.  She says it is not something I have done, but something her father (and probably her brother) have done.  I finally got her to take a popsicle, but she is still upset.  I hate when any of my kids are upset.  I guess I can only keep telling her I love her and hope she comes around.

I worked today, and now that I am home, I really don't want to go out again, but we have tickets for the final play  of the season, so we will be going to that tonight.

Tomorrow is clean up the house day, do errands and out to dinner with friends day.

Saturday, we will be going to Bloomington for our annual chili and hot dog supper at Monicas, then Sunday, we are meeting Huberts 94 year old aunt for dinner.

 Another busy weekend.

Happy Birthday Amanda!

I had a perfect day. I spent it outside with my grand babies at the park. They live on a cul-de-sac with a beautiful park in their side yard. I go there a few times a week to feed the geese and ducks with the kids. The geese now sit at our feet and eat from our hands. Gone are the days of them tentatively sitting 5 feet away waiting for a piece of bread. Now when they see us they start walking towards us instead of us walking towards them. And who is the bird-brain?

I hit the Good Will on Boughton again. I have to say that place is a gold mine. I got a huge basket for 4 bucks. It would have been over $100 had i gotten it at Pottery Barn. The basket looks like an old traditional Easter basket but is about 4 feet tall. I also bought a cross body lap top bag made by Burberry London for 6.99. I may have to EBAY it. I have gotten rid of all my T-Fal and converted to stainless steel. I got a set of Revere Wear copper clad pots with lids for $12. They had a 65 inch Flat screen TV there today. I was glad G wasn't with me. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I am thinking of joining Inwood Health and Fitness since it's close to my new job. Crystal, do you know anything about it?

I'm off to watch my Bears. I am hoping we do not embarrass ourselves on network TV tonight.
