Wednesday Roll Cal

Good morning!

i have knitting today and not much else. We are going to Door County Friday through Monday so I could start packing, but we plan to just hang out and watch the water, so packing includes yarn and books! Kay has taught for 8 weeks so she needs some downtime badly!

Crystal, that cake looked delicious. Chris is lucky to have you in his life!

Hello everyone

Yesterday went well.  The Beer Market was actually quite nice.  I had a delicious cheese burger...I of course took off the bottom 1/2 of the bun.  I had a couple fries and they were good too.  I mean there isn't a huge food selection because they are there for beer.  But what they do have is pretty good.  I had a lemonade...I hate beer.  The waitress surprised me with a sample of this raspberry beer.  It was ok...but I could still taste the beer. 

The cake did turn out well.  I was worried that I messed up some step along the way and it was going to taste bad.  It was pretty yummy.  Chris kept asking me...you didn't use any box stuff at all, you made this all.  And I said...of course can't you tell the difference.  But guys are guys.  I think I could have made a box German chocolate cake and he wouldn't have known the difference.  But I feel that there is a big difference between box cake and homemade cake...the taste is more rich and less chemical. 

Today after work I have groceries to do and laundry to do and errands to run.  So it's Walgreens, post office, Walmart, Dominicks, Dry Cleaners and then home for laundry.  I think I will pick up a rotisserie chicken for dinner and Domincks.  They have an Organic option...it costs about $2 more...but worth it to me.
