Sunday Roll Call

Good Morning,

It is a much cooler day today then yesterday. Another good day to cook.:)

I did go to Walmart yesterday, I bought enough frabic to make 2 fleece baby blankets, Morgans curtain, and a pillow covered in Owls for her as well.I am not sure if I will start on any of that today, work on my current rug or do some outside stuff this morning. I also have a couple of kitchen cabinets to clean as well  as my pantry. I guess I am "nesting in" for the winter.

A roast with grilled root veggies and red potatoes for dinner tonight. I am also going to make a cassarole for later in the week.

What are you up to today? Some fun maybe?

Hi Lisa and Peeps,

It was hard getting on the site  yesterday. I couldnt even read posts, the screens were blank. Glad things are back to normal.

Yesterday we went to see my brother and his wife in St Charles. They always make it so nice for us. We enjoy them a lot. We ate ribs and baked beans and I brought a punkin pie. We had a great time. It is funny watching them share and raise their 2 year old grandson with the my sister in laws ex-husband and his wife. My sister in law's son and his ex girlfriend (both 25) dont want the baby. So these 4 oldies but goodies are raising this baby together. It isnt easy but they are doing it  All have big careers. Prior to this none of these people even spoke to each other. Now they have to and it i good. Babies can do that.

We are going to church and then I have my class tonight. In between we will go get a bite to eat and enjoy this crisp fall day.

Enjoy this gorgeous day day the Lord has given us.

Hi everyone
I went to Office Depot by us which is closing and got some bargains. Also to CVS and got a flu shot. I know I'm better when I can run errands! Also ran into an old friend and had a quick visit.

I've got a cleaning project today and as always knitting. I think we will have salmon tonight served over chard and apples and onions with a maple pecan glaze. Yummy and we haven't had it for a few years!
