Friday Roll Call

Good morning!

I do believe this is Friday, although many of you writing about this week/month/year being a blur has me confused. At ;eat the sections of the paper that came today are the ones they print on Friday!

I spent some time on line this AM trying to reactivate my UIC email because even though I'm retired, without the email I can't get into my benefits page. As I grow closer to 70.5 and have to start taking benefits I need access. This of course is one of those projects I have put off for a year. And it took one email and less than ten minutes. Sometimes my procrastination flabbergasts me. f course if this were about a meal there'd be no procrastination! LOL!

I am watching the trees outside my window turn lovely shades of red and orange. One particularly beautiful tree is an ash which we have been treating in the hopes of thwarting the emerald ash borer. I'd sure hat to lose that tree! I know we need the rain today so if I go out I'll run between the drops!

Good morning Connie,

I just got Maddie off to her weekend trip to Mall of America. I'm excited for her, but a ball full of nerves. I know she'll be fine, but I worry that she will lose her purse with all her money in it or lose a package that she just buys. I've got to learn how to relax.

I'm not feeling any difference with the meds that I'm on. I'll give it another month and maybe I need to up the mg's.

Since I have the whole day off with no child, I'm gonna straighten up the house, clean out my lazy Susan, and then venture to the mall to exchange/fix Ryan's watch. I got some canisters for my flour and sugar and baking supplies for my birthday, so I'm washing those and organizing the lazy Susan. Then later I want to get a red box movie for Ryan and I to watch tonight.

To would be a perfect day to knit, Connie. I'm glad your on the mend. How long do they expect your drain to be in?

Looks like Dawn had an last making tomato sauce with the grand daughter last night! Yummmmm!
