Hi and good morning everyone,

Here I'm sitting about my computer thinking what I shoud do for today let alone wha I should do for this week. For today I'll play it by ear. To bad the Bears lost yesterday to the Lions (OH MY!) Better luck next time. I have two doctor appointments coming up on Oct 7th at Northwestern Memorial Hospital one of the two appointment that day is that I'll be seeing the doctor about my Chiari Malformation Type 1 and I think on that day the doctor will ge the paper work started for the insurance for the surgery and I might found out on that day when I'll have the surgery or find out on another day, wish me luck.

I can't believe that September ends at midnight tonight and October begins 1 second after midnight. Where did this year go?! The last few years andthis year has been a big blur to me.

I really need to get my rear end moving at some point this week, I need to mop and dust my apartment, I have been holding it off now for the last two weeks now. I need to kick myself in the rear end, shame on me.

What is everyones plans for the week? Have a great day and week everyone. Take care.

Jason.

Hi folks!

so far I've had a long but quiet day. I made several needed phone calls, not a favorite job, and a couple of naps. The medicines I have to take for a while cause exhaustion.

I started the morning in a lot of pain from the drain but now that is gone.

Hopefully things will smooth out soon!

i hope all of you are having on OK Monday. Vicki is now getting enough sleep and Bob is making progress in rehab. They are both so grateful for your support! Thanks!

Connie

Good evening Jason and Illinois friends!

I have spent the day shopping for lasagna and other food for the week.  Then came home and made two batches of lasagna as it is so labor intensive.  One for dinner for my family and one to freeze for the future.  Riley is coming Wednesday night and may be here all weekend.....who knows?

I don't know if I mentioned it, but David got a new assignment.  He likes this one MUCH better.  It is still in the food industry (as a matter of fact....one of the products is Splenda) but he WORKS all 12 hours of each shift.  The last assignment had him sitting around almost 1/2 of the time and that is very difficult on an overnight shift.  So........send prayers, thoughts and good mojo for him as he has a totaled car to pay for and possibly new transportation.  Also insurance and all other things that come with be "grown-up".

We attended an invite-only meeting last night for Yale University.  It sounds wonderful!  They really want finances NOT to be an obstacle.  They will either gift your tuition, (or the "demonstrated need") or not.......NO LOANS are accepted.  Liv is kind of excited as this was not really something she thought would even be on the radar.  She is just finding out what her potential may be.  She was SO funny..........she said after the presentation, "I am intimidated being in the same room with so many smart people".   Well.....the room held no more than 120 and you have to figure most of them were the student with 2 parents.  I said, "WHY are you intimidated?  You are smart, I am smart and your daddy is pretty smart."  I think it was an eye opener for her.

Not too much more for now.....got to go check on dinner and pick er up from cheer practice.

Everyone have a great night!

Hello everyone

Well today was my typical busy Monday.  On top of every thing else I stayed late because we had to get these Obamacare info sheets out.  By law your employer has to inform you of your options.  And they have to be mailed out by 10/1. So we had a deadline and a ton of envelopes to stuff, address and stamp.  But hey I got over time so I am not complaining

My next news is that Chris contacted me yesterday and really wants me back. We talked for hours and I think we are on the road to reconcillation.  This almost seems to have been a good thing for our relationship.  He seems so sure about everything now. He said he was miserable and missed me... I of course felt the same way.  But I think some how this time away made him realize how important I was to him (I always knew).  But I am very optimistic that things will work out.

Jason- good luck.

See ya later

Jason, so nice that we finally get a first name for you.

Hi, we had a busy day today. Not packed, but it seemed like we always had someone coming or going, and the phones were busy too.

Tomorrow starts phase two for this year. I will try to remember, that I love my job.

Hubert and i are running down to St. Louis, on Thursday. Will also go to dinner with my 2 bestest friends from school. I can't believe that we have been friends for almost 55 years. If someone would of told me that I would have friends that long, I would of thought they were nuts!!!

Dawn, good for Liv, she deserves to go to a  great college.

I think I got Christmas under control. I bought Morgan's stuff a few weeks ago, and I bought the 2 girls stuff this past weekend. I know its early, but you buy stuff when you see it.

Have a  good evening.

Hugs,

Lisa
