Wednesday Roll Call

Good morning!

It's still dark as I sit here and so I have no idea of the weather today exceot that we are still short on rain and it's not forecast.

I'm going to knit this morning and I have a few house things to do this afternoon.we didn't take out the trash last week because of the street being torn up so I need to gather trash and take it out on the new driveway. It's amazing that the project is done and looks great.

Kay is still having some ack pain, but she found a new chiropracter and is making progress. I'm not sure she should be driving to Door County on Oct 11th but we'll just have to see. we are taking two friends with and I have really mixed feelings about this.It will be a chance for me to practice not being selfish! But there are certain places I definitely want to go!

Vicki's husband Bob is in rehab right now and  may have to be there up to six months. The reality of all this is settling in and they are both sad. I know what it's like to be gone from home and in  an institution for sex months--not fun!

Connie, it is suppose to be high in the really low 70s. I do agree with you. We need rain. I love The Door in fall also. It is said it is the midwest version of the northeast.

This is the last week of our senior signup at work. No telling what next week will bring.

I am off to LaSalle this morning. I may stop at Hobby Lobby afterward, it will depend if I leave on time or not. We are going out to dinner this evening.

Where is Crystal?? I miss her.

I am trying to get things done around the house while G is in Chicago with his dad for the next 3 days. I keep opening drawers and pulling everything out and then getting distracted and going to do something else. Now my house is messier than when I started. I cant seem to stay focused or energized. UGH!

This weather has been gorgeous. The sun is so warm and the air so crisp.

Only thing I am doing today is go for my weekly raw milk run at the farm stop in Homer Glen.

Frozen pizza for dinner since I am alone.

Yep, we need the rain for sure, but I think we'll be getting some soon I hope. I think there is talk about some rain for this Saturday and Sunday that's what ABC 7 Chicago News says, I'll believe it when I see it.

Have fun in kniting, and good luck with the house stuff this afternoon. Wow! That's got to be a kick in the head with the trash. That's good to hear that the new driveway looks great. I had my doctor appointment today at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with the joint replacement doctor it a new one that I'm seeing now since the one that I was seeing left at the end of August. The new one that I seeing now agreed for me to get the Chiari surgery done first then have my next joint replacement once I recover from the Chiari surgery and get cleared to do my normal stuff that I do in life. The plan for my joint replacements is to do my left hip then my right hip then my right knee which makes sense.
