Good morning Illinois!  Where IS everyone?

Oh well.....I am up and have watched my new show "Supernatural".  I have made appointments and am now doing my computer work.  I will go down and clean up the kitchen and maybe get planting the hostas.  I also have to run down to the vet to get medicine as Toby seems to have fleas again.  I will also stop by the post office.

I seem to have passed my depression stage and am now ready to move on after the job loss.  I am feeling ready to get back to being productive.  I hope it lasts!

Everyone have a great day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Just working on my computer too for a while that go back outside and enjoy the day. I'll do some cleaning sometime during the week after the guys finish up working on the roof that the landlord called on tho fix. Good luck for you day today. Sound like you have a busy day today.

Sorry to hear about the job. I wish you luck. That's what I want to do is being productive. I hope it lasts for you too.

Good afternoon friends, I had a  longish post on FB today as I watched the city pull up my asphalt driveway and lay a concrete one.  I sat in a chair and watched, then I did some cleaning in the garage. It's been years since I did that without being coerced. I guess I am really healing!

So I am guessing the new driveway leads to the garage?

Hi Dawn and Friends,

It was my usual Monday, volunteering and therapy. This weather is simply gorgeous. I was going to bake a whole chicken but my taste buds want a brat so I am letting the grill get hot as we speak.I am so busy I barely have time to get anything done around my house. Pathetic. I have no job and am too busy to clean.

I'm taking a break from the gym and am going to switch to interval walking/running. Hoping this helps budge the scale. I also want to take a muscle class somewhere.

Dawn, I'm glad the blues have lifted. Enjoy this time!

I'm off to chop onions.

Hugs,

Sharon

Hi Everyone,

I just got home from work, and heading to the bedroom to play on my Gazelle for 20 min or so.

Not a hard day, except for being inside all day.

I did break down and put socks and regular shoes on. When I got to work, I noticed the other two I worked with today did the same.

I just talked to my cousin Bob. He is the one we go see when we go down to St. Louis. He was just told he has advance Parkinsons. Ironic, his mother had it too, and he was adopted.

Have a nice evening,

Hugs,

Good Evening Everyone!

Another Monday under the belt and tomorrow is my hump day as I have Thursday and Friday off.  I am so looking forward to 2 days  off!   I love fall weather so this is right up my alley.

On my time off, I have an appt  to see my new doctor and Fluffer is scheduled for the third time for his lion cut.  Hopefully this time we can catch him!    Poor kitty loves his lion cut but hates going to get it!   Buffy is learning to be a tom boy.  She keeps bringing in crickets from the outside to play with.  Now I HATE bugs and she just doesn't get that!  She gets upset when her "toys" disappear.  She gets fixed on the 30th.  Maybe that will slow her down some.  She is a little wildfire and into everything.  I have never seen a kitten play so hard.

Connie, I am so glad your driveway got done before they changed their minds!

Dawn, it is great to hear that you are ready to find a job!  That is great news.  I am glad that you are ready to move on!  That is a sign of healing.

Watson, your surgery is moving along rapidly.  This is all happening so fast.

Sharon, brats sound great.  We did a baked chicken last week and it was yummy.  Tonight it was stuffed pork chops!

Lisa, I was surprised at how cold it was this morning.  Shoes were definitely a necessity.  I am so sorry about your cousin Bob.  That is scary and unusual since he is adopted.  My grandad had Parkinson so it is always in the back of my mind.

Everyone have a great day!

Good evening to you too.

True that about another Monday (manic monday, wi**** were sunday) under the belt. Lucky you. I love  Fall weather too, but I like the first half of Fall weather not the second half. Good luck for your appointment, I use to have a cat that would get a lion cut. That's Buffy for you. I hate bugs too, but there are some that are okay. I like lady bugs, dragonflies, lighting bugs/fireflies/glowworm. Kittens will be kittens.

Yes my surgery is moving rapidly. indeed all happening so fast.

Have a great night.
