Hi friends,

I've been just sitting at the computer playing solitaire and freezing. I guess it's time to get dressed in something warm. I may have to make a cup of coffee to warm up! Even just holding the hot cup would feel good!

It looks beautiful outside even though it's quite cool. I can tell I'm getting back to normal, I almost wanted to go outside! I'm sure that will pass!

Many of you had projects for today or events scheduled. I may watch or listen to a football game, but really have no plans. Hose is picked up and laundry is done. I could run the dishwasher but that's not a real project.

Have a great day!

Connie

Good Morning,

No plans for us today. Huberts class reunion is over, and now is the time to come down off the high that these things do to you. It was nice, now looking forward to mine next year.

I did have a bit of an incident with chicken last night. I think it was a little to greasy, and really didn't want to stay down.

I did put a pot of chicken and veggie soup on this morning. We will have it for lunch, and I will have it for lunches during the week.

Have a great 1st day of fall.

Hugs,

Lisa

Hello Everyone

I have been mia for a few days and time to pop in and catch back up.  I have read each day but it has been late by the time I get on and by then it seems stupid to post.   Will try to do better this week.

It has been a busy few days the last couple of days.  Yesterday I went and taught a check class in Rockford.  It was from 10 am to 3 pm and so with the commute that took all day.  Rick went with me and on the way home he suggested dinner out.  We went to our favorite place in Utica and even though it is in a bar we thought it was early enough not to have drunks.  We were soooo wrong!  There was an EXTREMELY loud foursome at the bar and halfway through the meal, both of us had headaches.  We could not even talk to each other because it was so loud in there.  These 4 people ruined it for everyone else.  So we packed up our dinner and left.  Came home and I was so tired I never finished my dinner and went to bed early.  I slept in late today.

We went shopping and Walmart did not have any of their electric carts available.  I HAVE to have one as I cannot walk the store.  So, we went back to the car and headed to HyVee.  Got groceries and came home.  Leftovers for dinner but they were still yum!.  Rick had gotten bbq ribs and I had gotten chicken and we shared.

Sharon, you are really finding great buys at the Goodwill store!  What a moneymaker if you can turn around and sell those items on ebay.  That may be your new job!

Lisa, it sounds like Herbert and you had a blast at the reunion!  That is great!  To be able to see friends from way back when is super.

Connie, I cannot believe how lucky you are that the street people are going to redo your driveway free of charge!  I wish I had gotten that same offer!  What a fantastic break! It is well worth putting up with the inconvenience to have that done!

Crystal, I am glad your results came out negative but that is still a mystery as to why you are having such problems.  I hope the remaining tests come back negative as well.  Good idea turning this in to AFLAC  Money used for other things is a great idea!

Dawn, I hope all of you enjoy Liv's senior year.  This is such a special year for her,  She has accomplished a lot.  Have fun with her!  I am so glad you were still able to make the concert as well!

Watson,  I cannot believe that you now have to face brain surgery!  How scary!  I am not sure I could wrap my mind around that one.  How long have you know that you had this condition?  I am so sorry that you have to go through this now!  Good luck!

Kim, good luck with your bathroom diy project!  Wee need before and after pictures!  You are a brave woman!    Also, I hope you get your dr appointment soon.  I could not live without my happy pills.

Carla,  Is there a baby yet?  Let us know when it comes.  I  know the waiting part is the hardest!

Randy,  I hope your foot is all better.  You have not mentioned it recently..  Is no news good news?  What about the internal bleeding?  Are you feeling better?  I sure hope so.

Everyone have a great week.  Stay warm and enjoy the fall weather!

Same here with me being busy the last few days let alone a busy and somewhat a hard week. How did the class go? Cool a night off from cookinng dinner. Wow! sorry that the dinner meal, sorry that the two of you had headaches. So sorry that the 4 people ruined your evening meal and everyone else and it is wrong for the 4 people that ruined everything. May be (I hope) tomorrow will be a better day for the two of you.

Wow. another bad thing. At least you turned a negative thing into a positive. I bet the leftover are good, it seems that leftover always tastes good the next day. The ribs and chicken sounds good, I haven't had ribs in a long time.

I can'tbelieve it too that I have to face brain surgery. It is scary. Same here. I found ou about the condition about a few months ago and just a few days ago that the doctor said that he recommends me to have surgery so I set up an appointment for October 7th with the doctor to get the paper work going for the insurance for the surgery and to get a surgery date. Thank you, I'm sorry that I have to go through with it too.

:-) ...you too have a great week. I'll try to stay warm and try to enjoy the fall weather. You you enjoy the fall weather.

Hello Friends,

A short hello before I head upstairs to finally chill. I have been on the go since 8 am and I am ready to just lay down and watch the boob tube.

Today was church, late breakfast out, some administrative work for church and then my School of Kingdom class from 5p-8p. Just got home and i am tired and hungry.

These weekends fly by...........

The big decision right now is Ray Donovan or the Bears??????? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Sleep well my dear ones.

Hugs,

Sharon

ps. Connie, I am freezing. I am not ready for this!
