Got My MRI Test Results.
I got my MRI test results two days ago (09/18/20013) about if I need surgery or not to fix my Chiari Malformation Type 1 and the nurse of the doctor review the test results and she said: "The doctor reviewed the imaging and it confirms the Chiari. From his standpoint he recommends surgery.". Yesterday I went to the doctor's office and I set up an appointment to see the doctor about having the Chiari surgery and to get the paper work done to get the ball rolling on the insurance and to get a surgery date. Now I know what my next step(s) are. As far as my next joint replacement I have to put that on hold for now until get my Chiari surgery done and recover from that. I do see my joint replacement surgeon on September 26, 2013 and I have to let him know what's going on with me and take it from there. I'll get some info about what to expect with the Chiari surgery when I go in and see the surgeon on October 7, 2013.
I forgot to say that I had my MRI test done on 09/08/2013, the name of the test that I had done is called: "MRI Cerebral Spinal Flow Study".

Thank you, it's hard for me to say, but it has to do with my brain and brain stem it has to do with the way it sits at the back and lower part of the skull, the doctor will cut part of my skull in the back and put in a mesh lining in (that's the surgery part that my doctor told me about when I saw him last time). I have posted a link to a responsed to the same question on the Main Forum with a link on what is Chiari (same title in the Main Forums as I did on the Illinois Forum) check out there or google Chiari if you want a more detailed info on Chiari. I hope this helps you out, I'll learning about this too on what's it all about.
I am in so much better shaple (slowly but surely) now then before, I hope you're right on that I'll sail throught all of the upcoming surgeries.

Yep. I have. Ain't that a kick in the head (as Archie Bunker would say).I hope you're right. Thank you. After I have my Chiari surgery done and recover from that I would have three more surgeries at least; total joint replacements for my right knee and both hips. Done the road at some point I might need up to two more surgeries (plastic surgeries) in a few years,
Have a great weekend.
