Saturday Roll Call----Hello Autumn
Good Morning my Autumnal Buds,
What a glorious morning.
I have a busy morning. I was asked to take my girlfriend's grandson to soccer because she is tied up and then I was invited to go to lunch with Jimmy, my best friend. So instead of no plans I am all of a sudden, busy.
I lied. I never did get home yesterday to clean my house. I fed my addiction instead and hit 2 Goodwills......I am at awe how gorgeous the stuff is at the Woodridge store is. At this rate I will never have to buy retail clothing again. THEN, I found a pristine brown Gucci purse for 4.99 that I looked up online and it is not a knock-off. I am going to sell it on ebay for $300.00. It retails for 1800.00!!!!!!
Lisa, when I lost a foot size I was over the moon. I went from WW to W and a 10 to a 9. I hope to go to regular width when it is all said and done. Also, all my wide calf leather boots were floppy big. Have fun with all your activities this weekend. I know it is fun to go to things when you are feeling good about your appearance. And you are gorgeous.
Connie, did you go out last night or was Kay too pooped to pop?I love going out on Friday nights because Saturdays are the only day I can sleep in.
Watson, I would not pull the air conditioner out just yet. We still have Indian Summer to look forward to.
Dawn, what an exciting time, senior year for Liv. Enjoy!
Kim, I am in awe of a woman who is willing to jump right in and do a DIY on a bathroom. Our contractor took 6 weeks to do our bathroom and that was with 4 workers! I dont know anything about your dad's case. But I hope it goes well.
Peace to you also San Gambler.
Crystal and Nancy I know you are doing something you love with your men. Enjoy
Randy, I'm saving the best for last. Enjoy the meat, whatever kind it is. Be well, my friend.
Hugs,
Sharon
Happy Saturday,
We went to the ice breaker last night for Huberts class reunion. It was a blast!. I know a number of his classmates, these are the people we cruise with. Anyway, Hubert was a social butterfly, very unusual for him, I met another spouse, and we talked all evening, then we all went to dinner together. Our friends came in from Iowa, and we were able to catch up. Now today, they are touring the school, I am not sure if I am going, but Hubert is. Then tonight, is the big party.
Dawn, It was a perfect night last night for Liv's sen. evening.
Sharon, You and Crystal are convincing me to try GW.
Connie, Kay is so lucky to have you.
Watson, I agree, leave that A/C alone for another few weeks.
Randy, with the weather cooling down abit, you will be able to get out and do more exploring.
Nancy, what are your furbabies up to?
Hugs,
Lisa, I have been finding new Ann Taylor and Jones of New York clothing. I found a coat made of lambs wool and leather made in France for 7.99 that is new. On line the coat sells for $1800.00. The trick is to find the right store. The one in Bolingbrook is a dive, the one in Woodridge is AWESOME. Go for it. It is a sweet hobby. Enjoy the party tonight. What are you wearing?
Good morning!
Yo guys have the wrong idea about us "going out" on a Friday night. We go to dinner at 5 or 5:30 and are back home at ****ching TV and knitting. There's no need to sleep in on Sat because we didn't do anything that kept us up late. Recently I had an opportunity to go out on an errand after supper and I had to think where the switch was for the lights in my car because I hadn't driven after dark for probably the last two years!
We are so not exciting!
Knitting group today and who knows what else--probably nothing.
Have a good day, I'll be thinking about all of you!
Connie

Hello everyone
I am on my own today...maybe later this evening I will meet up with him and go for a nice evening walk. He is going to be helping his dad clean out his garage. His dad rebuilds old cars as a hobby and he just sold his last project. So he needs to clear out everything and move in the next project (I think it's a model T). It's a big clean up project from what I hear and him and his dad and his sons are doing it together and it sounded like a male bonding thing to me. So I opted to stay home. But I sent Chris with a bunch of roast beef sandwiches for all of them and rice crispy treats. He says I'm too good to him...hahaha!!! I'm just trying to fatten him up!!!!
So today I am going to do some cleaning and run some errands. Talk about Goodwills....I just realized there is one in Plainfield on RT 59. I'm not sure how long it's been there but I just noticed it. So I think I will drive down there and check that one out. I also I am meeting my friend Monica for lunch at Chipotle...since I didn;t go yesterday!!!! There is my day in a nutshell.
Last night I made Chris philly cheese steak pizza as a surprise (that's why I had lots of extra roast beef for the sandwiches). Chris mentioned one of his favorite pizzas was this and they discontinued it. So I looked up a recipe and it was surpisingly easy to make. I didn't eat any of it...yuck. I made myself a mini plain cheese pizza. I packed up the leftovers and sent him with those too.
By the way my test results from Thursday. The doctor said he saw nothing of concern with the scope. He said everything looked healthy. He said he didn't even see any sign of irritation (I told him about my problems with tampons). He also took some samples from deep inside my cervix ...those results should be back in a week. But he thinks those will be negative for anything. As for my sudden problem with feminine products he said I should try not using them for a month. Give myself a break. My PH level is off and that could be where my irritation is coming from. But like I said he saw nothing. So that's a load off my mind. I am taking accidofloulis...so hopefully that will help too.
In fact if anything I can turn this into AFLAC (I have their cancer coverage) and this procedure falls under prevention and early detection. I can submit a claim and they will pay me $100. So I decided to am going to use that toward Chris's birthday....which is 10-8...only 2 days before Amanda's.
I am jealous of you guys that go down a shoe size. I wear a size 12...I know I have huge feet!!! I was really hoping as I lost weight my feet would go down in size, but they haven't. I still wear a 12. I lost so 180 lbs but my feet lost nothing. I have lost some puffiness but all that did was allowed me to tighten the shoe strings a little. Hahaha!!!!
Well I am going to get going...see you all later. Have a splendid Saturday all...bye.
Good morning Sharon,
Indeed what a glorious morning.
I too is busy this morning, I'm doing two loads of laundry. As far as the rest f the day I'm not sure what I'll do. I might go for a walk later and might do some reading or something. Wow! You do have a busy day ahead of you today. I hope you have a great today.
At some point this weekend or sometimes during this coming week I have to clean my apartment up. Sounds like you had a good time shopping. Good deal on the pristine brown Gucci purce. Wow!
I'll try not to put the air conditioner yet, plus I would need help taking it out of the window from my aunt, I'll talk to her if she can help me with it next weekend instead of this weekend. Chicago weather is hard to tell what will go on with it.
Have a great weekend Sharon. Take care.

Good late evening Sharon and the rest of Illinois!
I love the Bears, but don't know abou****ching so much. So....I am up here catching up on my "computer work".
I was busting with pride at Liv's Senior night. Of course, the school, had to mess it up. Todd got tickets for Buddy Guy months ago knowing the Senior night is the first home game of the season. For some strange reason, they changed it to the 20th. At first, they said it would be at 5:30. Not a problem for an 8:00 pm concert. THEN....they moved it to 7:00 pm. Todd still figured we could make it. We arrived at the 6:15 time, and found out that they changed to to half-time. At that point, Todd was not willing to lose $ 120.00 worth of tickets. I would NOT leave Liv alone, so Todd left for the show. I kept my ticket in hopes that I could at least make it in time for the headliner. David agreed to walk with us and I had tears in my eyes. I left Dakota at 8:40 and made "just in time" for Buddy Guy". Although we wound up with two cars, it was an awesome show. So glad I made it.
Went to Riley's soccer game early Saturday afternoon then she came home with us. She harvested her carrots (that were planted in containers) and she decided we needed to eat them in a wonderful "Vegetable and fruit salad". She practiced her cutting skills and mixed the carrots with fresh apples and salad mix. I made a raspberry vinegarette and it was DELICIOUS!
This morning, we went to the apple orchard for a breakfast of apple cider donuts and cider (for them). Then wagon rides, petting zoo, pony rides and play time.
Home to meet mom for a Chinese dinner.
I need to get some plants in tomorrow and whatever else I can get done.
Looks like everyone is doing well. Glad to hear.
Everyone sleep tight!
