Monday Roll Call
Good morning,
Well already my doorbell rang and a nice man told me they are tearing out the street we use for the only access to our garage, so please move your car for two weeks. OK, it will be nice when it's done, but for now what a mess!
Bob is still in ICU and on dialysis. Vicki has a slight fever so she can't see him. It's going to be a long road for them! She has a good sense of humor though. She says she's going to post his picture at every fast food check out lane with a sign that says "Don't let this man buy junk foods!" Many of us could use that too!
I guess I'll head out to the Bookworm unless I want to hear jackhammers all day. The street is made of concrete and they are going to replace it with concrete. It's only 500 feet long, but oh well.
Have a good day!

Good Morning Everyone
Fast flyby for me.
Connie, I am so sorry they are working on your street. That is such a pain in the rear. When they did ours, I could not wait for them to be done. It was worth it but oh the noise and dirt!
It was a short weekend for me. Seemed like it flew by. Now it is back to the work week. At least nothing else going on during the week. I will enjoy peaceful evenings. Unless Buffy continues to bring me gifts of crickets! She is quite the bug collector! I just dont appreciate her gifts. Sigh.,
No big news right now. Just enjoying the nice weather although I will say I got cold last night! I ended up with all the covers and poor Rick had nothing and I was still cold! I am sure I will hear about that one!
Everyone have a great day!
Cat Lady
Good afternoon Connie and the rest of Illinois!
I am anxiously awaiting Todd's arrival home from work. I have NO IDEA how this will shake out.
David took the third car in the middle of the night (without permission) and called me at 3 am to tell me that he hit a deer and wrecked the car. Both airbags went off, the windshield is shattered but intact and there is damage to the front, hood and right quarter panel. The car will be a total loss. I am thankful that he is ok, but I do not know what to DO about it. It is not like the old days when the dad would beat the kid. He is 20 years old and I can't compel him to get help for his "issues".
So.......I had a sleepless night and things here are touchy.
On the other hand, I had a great time with my friend over the weekend.
Wish me luck.........
Hello Friends,
Simply gorgeous day today. It is my busy day, but lately they are all busy. I was in class last night and as always it was awesome. We did "activations". It is getting visions from God about people when your eyes are closed. It was powerful. I am really enjoying the class.
Today I did my volunteer work and then went to my therapy appointment and dropped off the GW furniture I found to my daughter's house. Tonight is the only night I am not busy so I am hoping to just chill a bit.
G is at his parents house tonight. I am thinking of eating chocolate chip cookies for dinner.......I wont but it does sound yummy.
Connie, I went thru the street tear up last fall. The end product made it so worth it.
Nancy, G and I have separate covers because he likes a heavy down cover and I like a light cotton blanket. Every night he seems to find his way into my blanket....about 2am every morning he wakes me up and says, "Wanna cuddle? How can I say no???????
Dawn, I am so glad your son is ok. This too shall pass, dear one. You and your fam is in my prayers.
Time to open those chocolate chip cookies
Everyone, have a great rest of this gorgeous day that the Lord has given us.
Hugs,
Sharon
Hi All,
Sorry I have been mia again.
Part of it was my computer didn't want to let me on OH. Who knows why. Saturday, I went with Morgan and Monica up to Chicagoland. We went from Willmet to Bucktown, to Fox Valley Mall. A great day, but we didn't get home until after 10. I did start my Xmas shopping. Morgan is compleatly done except for a gift card or two. I will do the sil's in October, then the girls in November. This will be the easiest year ever if my plans go like I want them to.
Working this week, and this coming weekend is Huberts 50th class reunion. Looking forward to a full weekend of activities.
Connie, I am sorry your from is doing bad. Good vibes are going out to him.
Sharon, enjoy your night alone.
Dawn, Those things happen, but where was he going at 3:30 in the morning?
Nancy, we have the opposite problem. Hubert sleeps with a sheet, and I use a comforter, sheet and blanket.
Crystal, I am sure your brownies are gone.
Hugs,
