Sunday Roll Call
Hola My Friends,
I am up early because I went to bed early.Old habits die hard.
I had so many plans for last night, but alas none came to fruition. I started reading a book I am going to need to read for a small study group and it was so good, I just curled up in the family room and hunkered in and read until I fell asleep.
Today is church. Then I think we are coming home and making those chicken wings that never got made. Perhaps we will drink the sangria we never got around to drinking......plans around here are really just possibilities...HAHAHAHA
It's a bit dreary here right now. Wonder what kind of day it will be weather-wise. I know my allergies are barely under control thanks to Zyrtec D every 12 hours.
What's happening in you neck of the woods?
Hugs,
Sharon
Good Morning,
Sharon, I will do that with a good book too.
I was going to watch Nascar last night, then a friend of mine called and I was chatting with her almost 2 hours. That in itself is unusual, since we talk almost every day.
This weekend has been very quiet. No plans at all. We do have a play to go to on Thursday, and I am going with Monica next Saturday up to Glenview. Other then that, it will be a normal work week.
Connie, I hope you enjoyed the evening out with Kay.
Nancy, how was your weekend?
Randy, how is your ankle?
Watson, You have done remarkable.
Kim, when do you leave again?
Crystal, when does Chris start his new job?
Dawn, How was your weekend?
I did get the file cabinet cleaned out yesterday. I just rearranged it, and threw out all the filler papers that come with everything. And true to form, Hubert couldn't find anything when he went into it. But, thats ok. He will get it, eventually.
Have a good day,
Hugs,
Good morning,
Kay and I enjoyed having dinner outside on the patio at Garrett's and watching the golfers. Then we didn'****ch tv because there was less than nothing on, so we both read books. Later I spent about an hour texting with my son, which was precious time spent with him.
Kay is already off to the grocery store. We planned a few days menus, several with the leftovers from last night! That's about all from here. I plan to watch the Packers later.
My friends husband Bob is still in critical condition with kidney failure. There was no change overnight.
Have a nice Sunday,
Connie

Sorry group. When my red cell count is down from blood loss there are holes in my persona.
Luckily I am not drinking this time but I am still me so I have been known to be erratic.
I have quit wearing my boot but am not walking fast but occasionally still take a step that illicits a verbal/audible ouch.
Stroll, shower, meeting, Bears, Golf or other Football
Good afternoon Sharon and the rest of Illinois!
I am catching up on computer work while I listen to Todd yell at the Bears. He is so funny....seems like he thinks that if he yells loud enough or repeats often enough, they will listen.
I had a good time yesterday being the designated driver for Todd and our other friend. I really prefer that option since I don't drink beer. I got to spend time with him, but didn't have to pay the large fee that is charged at most beer festivals. This festival had some kinks.....mainly for me was that they ran out of free water for the DD's. That was promised in the agreement to be a DD. Then, Todd ordered some special beer, to be picked up after the festival. When he went to get it, they did not have it! He paid $ 20.00 and then they apparently were not organized enough to hold back the SOLD bottles. It also happened to others. He got his money back, but was pretty disappointed.
After the game, we are running into town to pick up his new glasses. Then dinner. How exciting!
Everyone have a great day!
Good afternoon everyone!
I has been a quiet weekend for me. Yesterday I caught up on sleep. I slept off and on until 3 pm. I would awake and start cuddling a cat and fall back asleep. I was so tired! I guess I needed it. The cats loved it.
Today I slept late again, could have been my late bed time last night had something to do with that! We just got back from the grocery store and managed not to spend a fortune! What a relief. The last two weeks have been bad for the budget so it was nice to get out of the store cheaply.
I finally have a doctor. I have a new patient visit the 27th of the month. He is a good internist. He used to take call for my doctor when he was away so I am familiar with him. He also focuses his practice on the elderly and I guess I am getting there. I dont know if it is because I called the CEO of our hospital to complain or not. He has not gotten back to me yet but he will get an earful when he does.
I am furious at the way my old doctor is being treated. Everyone has condemened him as guilty and he has yet to be indicted. Yesterday the paper stated that the federal people will not be pressing charges at this time. I still think he is being framed. All charges are local. I do not understand why at age 62 you would throw your professional career out the door like this. He was too good of a doctor to do this.
Crystal, I am so happy for Chris and his new job. I am so sorry for all your health issues lately. You dont deserve them. I went through that around age 40. It seemed like my body started falling apart. Unfortunately, it never stopped. I do hope that it is not the same for you.
Lisa, so glad you have gotten your file cabinet arranged. Rick does this to me all the time. I never can find anything in the kitchen since he took over the cooking. It is now HIS kitchen. So I just ask for anything I want.
Sharon, tell me what plans are. We never plan anything. When it happens, it happens. That makes life more exciting.
Connie, prayers for your friend Bob. That is so scary. I hope his condition improves soon, I am glad you were able to enjoy a night out and eating on the patio sounds delightful. How luck you are to be able to text your son. Indeed that is special time! Good luck on the job front. I know you have the skills to turn that practice around and get a huge raise!
Randy, I am worried about you. Blood loss is nothing to ignore. This is serious and it sounds like it is effecting you a lot. Prayers for speedy healing and PLEASE see a doctor if this continues.
Kim, those were awfully long hours you worked this past week. I hope they did not do you in! I know the money will be nice but your health is more important! Take care of yourself!
Dawn, I am glad you had a good time with Todd yesterday. That is terrible that they did not hold back the sold beer! Unbelievable! And to run our of water for the dd is inexcusable as well. I certainly would be questioning the organizers of the event. I love people watching football, myself included. I am one of the screamers at the TV I dont know why but it is as if you are at the game. I cant be silent. Same thing for any sport. The cats think I am craxy!

Hope all is well with you guys!
