Good Morning,

Randy, you are sounding very "up",  this morning.

Connie, Go to the parade and support it. Is Kay walking in it?

Kim, nice to know you are home.

Sharon, you are always so busy. How do you keep it all straight?

Dawn, Don't let Todd put you down. Hubert tried that this past winter, and I just let anything go for a couple of days. He then realized that I was doing a lot during the day. Just because they don't see, doesn't mean you are loafing around.

Crystal, did you get all of your running done last night?

I think I am going to tackle a five drawer file cabinet today. It has way to much stuff in it. I knoow Hubert will have a fit, since he won't have everything at his fingertips, but, I can't find anything now.

Yesterday for lunch I made ham salad, Hubert had a bid old sandwich on Hawaiian Bread. That stuff has gotten expensive! I bought it to use on a dessert kabob for Sunday, instead of pound cake. Beef Kabobs for dinner. I bought the round kabob holders on sale a few weeks ago, and I want to try them.

Have a great Saturday.

Hugs,

Lisa

Hey Lisa,

Can I have your ham salad recipe. G loves ham salad and I have never made it. What kind of ham do you use?

I do all my shopping at Aldi's, Costco and Trader Joes. I am shocked at how high certain foods have shot up in the past 2-3 weeks. Ugh! G loves the frozen ice cream cones from Aldi's. All summer they were 1.99 for 6. Yesterday when I went o pick up a few things they were 2.69. That's 70 cents! I know thats not a fortune but percentage wise that is a big jump and it adds up.

Thanks my dear one.

Sharon

Hi Randy and Lisa,

My 2 favorite early birds.........

Hi IL Friends,

Well, I had my interview with the docs last night and what a surprise they are the sweetest and nicest men I have ever met. They are my age and have great reputations in the community. The pay definitely sucks and they know it, but they want me bad and offered to let me work 3.5 days a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would be off on Wednesdays and be able to leave early on Fridays or work from home on Fridays, if I prefer. They are closed on weekends.  They also are having major money issues due to mismanagement and promised me more money if I turned the practice around. They have not officially offered me the position yet. They are concerned I will leave when i find a better paying job. They also are having major staff issues. G said I should take the job. He thinks it is right up my alley. It is also close to home. So now I have to wait for an official offer. Funny, 2 days ago I was hoping they wouldn't want me, now I am hoping they call me.

This morning G and I are going to do some volunteer work at the church and then we are going to Costco to get a few things. We are going to grill some wings on the "barbie" and our drink of choice tonite will be sangria. G makes the best sangria.

Randy, Lisa is right, you sound "mahvelous" how is the foot?????????????????????

What is everyone else doing????????

Hugs,

Sharon

Hello everyone

I got all my errands done yesterday.  Today we are celebrating Chris's job.  I made dark chocolate brownies and I am making dinner for him and the kids tonight.  Oh and Dawn...we are doing the snowballs today!!!  I think the boy are going to love it.

I was thinking yesterday I keep having problems with these stupid little health issues that most people don't even think twice about.  Like late last year it was a UTI that took 4 rounds of antibiotics before it went away.  Then it was pink eye that took 2 months and 2 antibiotics and steroids before it went away.  This year it's allergies...allergies to food, the environment, to birth control....that I take 4 different meds on a daily basis to control.  It's maddening that these little piddly things keep bringing me down.  I know I should be grateful that I don't suffer from anything big like diabetes or heart disease....

Well I am going to go eat breakfast my one medicine requires food.  So i will see you all later....have a great day.

My darling,

As you continue to eat like you have lately......ie, since I have known you (organic, local farming etc), you will have these issues less and less.

I heard today that GMO's are causing us to be sicker by over 250% since they came into our lives a few years back. Carrots and corn are 95% GMO now. So when we are chomping on veggies and thinking we are eating healthy, we are actually not. We are hurting our bodies, destroying our metabolism and slowly killing ourselves with herbicides and food created in a test tube made to look like the veggies our parents and grandparents ate to be healthy. How awful is that?

Monsanto is the enemy. The food that is produced by their seeds is being refused by foreign countries because it is frankenfood. The food sits on huge ships on docks that foreign countries are refusing flatly when they investigate the origin. China wont even accept anything made from Monsanto seeds. But in the US, Monsanto is the #  1 seed seller. They have been bought and paid for by White House since the 90's. Most countries refuse to buy anything related to Monsanto. Yet, the greatest nation in the world gets almost all of it's produce from seeds made by genetically engineered Monsanto. So the next time you eat a delicious salad filled with tons of greens, think about what it really is. If it aint organic it probably is GMO. Ugh!

I dont even want to eat out anymore. I heard today, Target is going 100% non-GMO. If so, this will be the first box store to take a stand against what is killing our nation slowly but surely.

By the way, I know a naturalist who treats all ailments without steroids and antibiotics. I have his number if anyone wants it. He is about 85 years old and many real docs go to him for info about how to treat their patients. He is cheap but does not take insurance. Larry works out of his house from 7am until 9pm daily. He will tell you on the first visit why you keep getting these ailments. The man is the health-whisperer. I recommend him HIGHLY.

Be well my dear one,

Sharon

I was thinking about this and just wondering.......have you had all your blood levels checked?  Vitamin deficiencies can cause all kinds of "minor" (and major if not addressed) ailments.  I have a list somewhere of what all should be checked out.

Tell someone that you love them!

Hi friends,

An OH friend from KY who I've stayed in touch with since "07 needs prayers for her husband Bob who just had toes removed because of diabetes and now his kidneys are shutting down. I can't them out of my mind.

Today I went knitting and the youngest member of the group (25) just had a baby and she brought the little darling today. All of us who are grandmother age drooled over her. She is so cute! Less knitting and more talking today--so fun to see the bitsy ones.

Kay wants to go out tonight and I've been so droopy all week that I'll pull it together so she can go out. Since I have so little energy she does all the work here and teaches all day. I owe her big time. I'm grateful to be so loved!

Have a good weekend!

Connie
