Wednesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Well I have good news.  Chris got a job at Northwestern in the orhto/neuro unit.  He is very excited he will be out of the pharmacy at Walmart.  The great thing is the position is a union position.  He has to go in for a physical and asked if I would come along and we could spend the day in Chicago...I said, heck ya.  I told him I can't take Mondays off though.  So yeah!!!

And now for the bad news...my friend Monica...the one that got me my job.  Got fired yesterday.  I was so shocked and sad to see her gone.  It's just not going to be the same there without her.  We had a lot of fun joking around there.  When she finally answered my text she seemed fine about the whole situation.  She said it will give her time to declutter the house and catch up with other things.  I guess it's different when you have a husband.  I had total panic going through me when I lost my job...that didn't go away till I found another.  When you are the one that pays the bills and have no one else to depend on.  I thought I would be consoling her but she seemed happy but she said she would miss me. 

 Today, I have to work...of course.  Then I want to do some groceries.  Then come home make dinner and workout.  That will be it for me.  How about you guys. 

I have to admit I haven't been reading lately and I have to get back into it.  Not only do I love it but I found it to be so relaxing.  There are 2 books I have to read because there are movies out based on the books and I won't see the movies till I read the books.  I feel like seeing the movie first ruins the book.  So I think I will start City of Bones.

I am shortly off to work. Yesterday was like it should be, but I know we will be swamped as usual today.I think it was because we moved sites in Streator, and also because it was a Tuesday. We had been at that site on Mondays and Thursdays before.

We will be meeting friends for dinner tonight.

Randy, we use indoor grill pan alot during the winter. They are great.

I am home getting back to normal after my family has been around for a long weekend.  I am planning on tackling the middle garage today.  I think.

Hi Everyone.

I went to aerobics and hurried home to get ready for my day. I stopped at Aldi for a few things ( i love Aldi--they are owned by Trader Joes) and hurried home to put a pot of beans on. I have such a taste for pinto beans and corn bread. I will also grill chicken wings for more protein.

Today I have my interview with the blind company. It is thru a head hunter and I only know it is a physician practice in Joliet. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well, nothing more going on except the weather is gorgeous and I may get out in the yard later and weed some.

Hi everyone!

I went to my knitting group this AM but came home at noon because I feel so exhausted. I also am finding that I am barely hungry. It's almost like when I first had the RNY. I eat a few bites, maybe a 1/3 c of yogurt or cottage cheese and i'm done. I'm not even interested at all in the things I shouldn't eat. Usually I have to make tough decisions about this or that, but not since I've been home. of course I am losing weight pretty fast and I love that, but it feels weird. I guess i could be grateful for the weird and take the weight loss.

That's about all that is going on here.

I have slept most of the day and am pretty sure I had some internal bleeding.  Hopefully that will self resolve and I will not end up in the hospital again.  I bought some new New Balance walking shoes yesterday and walked half a mile this morning before trouble hit and going back to bed.  I also broke an arm on my glasses this morning.  Great day in the morning!!!
