Thursday Roll Call

Good morning!

I've ben kind of uncomfortable the last few days so I called the PA and he didn't return my call, so I emailed Dr. Garren. He doesn't think anything is wrong,, so I'll accept his judgment, unless the discomfort gets worse. I probably am being too fussy. Last time when I had the RNY I was so sick that I don't remember early recovery at all. It was over six months till I really knew where I was.

Today I am going knitting again and then this afternoon a friend is dropping by. That will be nice. I need to start getting a handle on how to spend my time since I'm on the road to recovery (not waiting for it in the future) and I really do have a lot of time in which I could "do something". Something will turn up and I'll know.

Sharon, the job sounds great if they can adjust the salary. What are the other benefits like? Health insurance till you get to Medicare? enough years to work that you'll get a pension, even if a partial one? Eventually you'll have peace in your heart if this is the right job.

Afternoon Everyone

The days are still flying by.  I wish they would slow down.  I am still pulling out my hair here.  My heart doctor put in a test order for my protime and I went to the hospital last night to get it and they could not find the order.  They were really rude and kept saying my doctor had not admitted anyone for over two years so that is why they wont help me.  I have a call in to the CEO to ask if that means the thousands of dollars that I and my insurance company owe for services rendered for care ordered by my doctor are not owed because he did not treat anyone at thier hospital????  I have gone to that hospital for 20+ years and was last there as an inpatient a year ago.  OOPS.

Crystal, so sorry you are having the problems with bc.  I am so glad I am well past that.  I never used anything like that and if I did I would have been allergic to it as well.

Lisa, where are the people.  That is really strange. 

Randy, I do hope you are not having internal bleeding   That is scary.

Sharon, I am so sorry that the job was offered to you at lower wages.  I do know that many people are willing to take lower wages to have a job.  I know I did.  It is better than nothing.  Only you can decide. 

Connie, I hope you really get your energy back soon. 

Dawn, my thoughts are with you.  I hope you are enjoying your time off right now.

Nancy, I disagree about Sharon taking the job at a much lower wage. She is a seasoned employee, who knows her jobs. She shouldn't have to take that much less. It is almost treating her as a fresh out of school, we have to totally train you, person. this is just my opinion.
