I'm enjoying life now. I've come a long way. When I started my WLS journey in August of 2009 I was scared & nervous in what's ahead of me leading up to the day of WLS (I had the VSG {06/08/2010}) and the first year or so in post-op. It got easier as time went on and being scared & nervous went away, but I still a little bit of it from time to time. During the three years plus I wa****ting NSV's & SV's left & right and they started to slow down, but I'm still get a NSV's & SV's once in a blue moon. Three days ago (08/29/2013) I bought my round trip Southwest Airline's ticket for Arizona for November (from 11/20/2013 to 11/24/2013). This will be my third time going to Arizona. Before I had my VSG surgery for a few years I wanted to visit Arizona and now my dreams came true. There are other parts of Arizona that I still want to visit and I hope I get the chance to do it in this life time. By going to Arizona is a NSV and a SV and Goal for me. I still remember my very first visit to Arizona. I love my VSG. I now have a life and enjoying it every second, every minute, every hour, everyday, every year, and every moment of it. Thank God I'm still alive.

What a great tribute to your journey, and your sleeve. You give me hope. The last 50 has been hard! Hugs, Sharon

Didn't think of it that way...thank you. Glad I gave you hope, you gave me hope too.  I know you can get the last 50, if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish (believe) anything. :-) ...hug, Jason.
