Sunday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well today is that party I'm not invited to. I don't know why it is bothering me so much but it is. To the point that I was not able to eat much yesterday (and I can tell not much today). I did talk to Chris about it he is not going to tell them anything. I don't want to force anyone to invite me. That will just lead to resentment and they will end up hating me. I am hoping that as time goes by they will want to invite me.
Actually today I have fun stuff planned. I am going to a rodeo with friends. A gay rodeo...it for the LGBT. I never been to a rodeo before. The only downer is that it will be so hot outside. Ugh. So I am going to have fun today and leave all my problems behind. Then we are going out for dinner afterwards...I will see if I can eat.
Anyway...those are my plans today.
So have a good day all...see ya laters gators...bye
Good morning!
we went out to dinner last night. It helped me feel more normal. I was afraid I'd be worn out but that didn't happen. I need to help pick up the house today. It's mostly my knitting in every room, so it won't take more than 10 minutes. I always feel better when the house is clean and not cluttered. Neither Kay nor I can tolerate much clutter. Thank goodness we're the same in this. Too bad it's going to be so hot today.
We need to plan some meals for the week so Kay won't have to cook when she gets home from teaching. By late afternoon I'm too tired to cook also. Last week we ate salads and half sandwiches all week.
I hope you all are enjoying your weekend,
Connie

Good Morning,
Crystal, maybe the boys will bring it up. If they do, then Chris should tell them why you aren't there. Now that the party is happening, I think later this week, you should ask him what is going to happen later on, is this going to be the norm, or are his family going to accept you as part of Chris. Just my opinion.
I am so glad that you were able to get out and have fun last night, Connie. You have to take 1 day at a time.
Randy, I understand how you feel about the park cleanup.
No plans for me today, just a few things to finish up and grill ribs.
Hugs,
Hello Dear Friends,
I have been busy for the past few days helping my daughter and her husband by watchng the grand babies while they finally move into their house. It has been lots of library visits , park playing and hide and seek. Oma is tired! Tonight is their first night sleeping in the house and I am happy for them.
G still has not heard anything from Carle Clinic. Tomorrow he is interviewing in Park Ridge. That seems like a hike since we live south. But I am open to whatever God has for us.
Today after church we did nothing. I was so hot in church, I just wanted to come home and cool off. We ended up watching movies all day. I just love lazy days.
Randy, since you are up and about, I am assuming you are feeling better. Kay I am glad you are on the road to recovery too.
Lisa, ribs sound good. I have not had any all summer. I think I will put that on my menu for next weekend.
Crystal, I am going to have read backwards to figure out why anyone would not invite such a sweet gal to an event. Their loss!!!!
Hugs to all my peeps,
Sharon
Hello Everyone!
Once again the weekend has flown by. Yesterday I had to go get another round of iron. I only have one round left for which I am thankful. Today we woke up to discover that Buffy had lived up to her nickname of Little Sh#$ She got into a huge package of toilet paper, stole a roll and proceeded to shred the entire roll and the core. Needless to say, the toilet paper is now stored elsewhere. We have scolded her before for picking at it but she does not listen! Bad Kitty! I am beginning to suspect to think she is part Bengal. She has some of the traits such as climbing u***** or I whenever she wants. She does have stripes and spots which is a Bengal trait. So there may be Bengal blood in her someplace. Who knows. When you get a stray you dont know what you get.
Randy, I hope the boot is helping you. It sounds like you are able to get about a little easier. I hate the boot but I must say it does stop foot pain.
Connie, I am so glad you were able to get out for dinner and not have it wipe you out. That is the problem with major surgery, it steals all your energy and you get so tired so easily. Your mind is ready to go but your body says no way.
Crystal, I hope you were able to have fun today. It will take some time to get new arrangements worked out. Many people do handle divorces so differently and the exes are treated differently. They just have to figure out how to include you as well. I think Lisa is right. The kids will want you there and will start asking for you to be included.
Lisa, ribs do sound great. Hope you enjoy them.
Sharon, I think the hardest part of job interviews are waiting afterwards. It really is hard to wait for companies to make up their mind. You just wi**** could all be settled. Hopefully you will hear something soon.
Everyone have a great evening and a super Monday!
