Guess what day it is...Hump dayyyy!!!! Roll Call
Hello everyone
I've been at work for a awhile now and thought I would hop on here really quick.
I have to run to Target today and Walgreens. My friend Olga picked up these Kashi bars for me at Costco that I like. Normally I don't like any of those bars at all. Yuck...but are Kashi crisps and kind of remind me of rice crispy treats. They are not bad I scanned them in my fooducate app and they got a "B". I like these as a treat when I'm craving a candy bar. So far I have not seen them any where...so Olga always gets them at Costco for me.
Then I am making chicken lasagna rollups...another pinterest recipe. Chris is coming over...have to feed that boy. I always put extra cheese and meat in his stuff...hahaha!!! He always inhales it.
So what are you guys up to today???
Sharon- how did G's interview go?
Well I got to get back to work...see you all later...Bye
Happy Hump Day to you to Crystal, and Everyone.
Yes Sharon, how did G's interview go. Inquiring minds want to know.
Chicken Lasagna rolls sound good. I used to make them often.
Dawn, how did your trip to the zoo go? It sounded like fun.
Not to much on the agenda today. I want to get outside and do some pickup of stuff that needs to to be tossed, I think we will meet friends for dinner tonight. Otherwise, summer is starting to whine down for me. I start back to work on the 30th.
Hugs,
Hello My Dear Ones!
I was also thinking of going to Costco to get some protein shakes. I am seriously considering just doing 2 meals of shakes and eating a protein and salad for lunch or dinner for a month. I know it's extreme, but it works. I need a serious kick in my booty to get this diet on track again. Thankfully I am still on track with working out.
G's interview went really well. He spoke to his head hunter yesterday who told him they really were impressed with him. I guess it's between him and another guy only. They are going to mail him a benefits' package to see what the company offers. I know they dont usually do that unless they are serious about the candidate. i really liked Urbana. I was able to visit 3 second hand stores while he was interviewing. It was also nice to pay so much less for gas.
You guys were correct. It did take 2 hours to get down there. He has another interview at Lutheran General on Monday and we will see what that one is like. So we may be moving south. The first thing we saw when we got into town was a huge Vineyard Church. I felt like that might have been a sign since that is our church and I am feeling a little sad about leaving our Lockport Vineyard. A woman at one of the stores told me the Vineyard Church in Urbana is the largest church in the city. It will be interesting..........
This evening I am babysitting my babies. I was surprised how many times my daughter texted me when I was in Urbana yesterday, asking how things were going. Maybe she would miss me if i left. For some reason that doesnt make me feel better. Just sad.
Well my chicks I must be off. I have to get to the pool.
Hugs,
Sharon
Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
Our zoo trip was fun, though it took a bit to get there. Detours on both the usual routes. It took a little longer to get there, but Riley enjoyed it, so it was worth it. Liv even seemed to enjoy it although she started out a bit cranky. Madison's zoo is pretty small, so very do-able.
A very strange thing happened to Todd yesterday. He got an email from NewEgg.com thanking him for his purchase using his AMX card. He does not have an AMX card and the email went to his work address. He is on strict orders to check it out today. I have an AMX card, but did not buy anything from NewEgg, and if I had, I certainly would not use my husband's work email address. VERY STRANGE.
Hoping that G gets a job that is a good fit for him. I hear that area is nice too.
We are hoping to have a "back to school" snowball fight tonight after supper. Riley and I got our supplies yesterday. (2 boxes of corn starch to 1 can of shaving cream). Then Amber will come out and her, Riley and I will find something to do tomorrow. Thinking of heading into Chicago.
Gotta get moving.....
Everyone have a lovely day!
Well.....it was 3 weeks yesterday for me that I had my tummy tuck. And as of today I still have my damn drain in. I'm so over it! The results are so worth it and that's what I have to keep reminding myself. I'm supposed to call Friday and report how much fluid I'm still leaking. I've had about 25-30cc's about everyday. So I'm hoping Friday is my day. I have to be honest, I'm scared to death to have it removed, just for the fact that every time the tube moves on the outside of my body I get a sharp pain. In my opinion, I think 3 weeks is to long to have a foreign thing in your body. But the docs know best.
It's so fun reading everyday and following you guys. What a bunch of great people!!! Hope everyone is staying cool. It's supposed to get wicked hot next week.
Hugs,
Kim
