Monday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Looks like we are in for a hot week...so stay cool...
It was really nice seeing everyone. It really funny how we know each other so well but only met in person 1-2 times. I liked that restaurant too. My turkey burger was yummy...and I snuck a couple fries off Chris's plate. I just don't eat fries any more...except for a couple. Chris also remarked how much we knew each other and said he had great time and thought everyone was so nice. And I said of course, I'm not friends with jerks...hahaha!!!
Sharon...your hubby was awesome. What a great sense of humor and infectious laugh he has. And really awesome that he is going to try to help Chris out too.
Nancy...your Rick. I think he is very luck to have someone like you to look after his health. And he has great stories and he loves cats. What a perfect match the 2 of you make...
All and all it was a great get together. I really wish Connie would have been able to make it. You were missed. We talked about you...were your ears ringing...hahaha!!!!
Well after our get together we went back to Chris's place and hung out with the kids till it was time for him to take them back home. Then we went to my place and a small dinner.
Today is just work and working out. I have to get back into the groove. I took so much time off last week because I wasn't feeling well. Got to love those antibiotics. That's all for me today. I also have lots of fruit on hand to curb my munchies on the wrong foods.
I need to get back to work...I hope everyone has a great day...see you all later...bye
Good morning friends,
I certainly wish I could have been with you all yesterday. I was so hoping to be strong enough to go, but it wasn't meant to be. We were able to have breakfast with a dear friend who lived here a number of years ago and whom we saw daily while she was here. It was great to catch up and hang out together. today I go to Madison to have the staples taken out. I am so ready to just move on and heal totally. I'm just starting to realize how much not being whole has been holding me back. I hope they take the drain out too! Kay is teaching so a friend is driving me to Madison. I've been looking forward to spending some time with her.
Even though it is Monday, I hope each of you has a great day!

Good Morning.
My computer is acting funky. I need to shut it down, and see if that helps.
Connie, good thoughts are going your way.
I am cleaning my back bedroom today. I can't tell you when the last time was that it was top to bottom cleaned. This is the week I am going to try to do all my rooms, one at a time.
i agree with you Crystal, It is funny how we know each other so well, just like old friends. The guys were awesome too. We can't wait that long before we have another one.
Ok, now it is better.
After we left everyone yesterday, we went to Trader Joes, where we bumped into Sharon and G.
We have decided we need a weather vane on top of the roof over the grill. I will look on Amazon for it, since neither Menards, Home Depot or Farm and Fleet have them.
Hugs,
Good Morning Everyone!
What a great time we had yesterday! I really enjoyed seeing everyone again and meeting Chris, Sharon and G. Sharon, your hubby is so handsome and what a character! He is such fun to be with! We had a wonderful time! Rick enjoyed meeting all of you and he too was amazed at how well we knew each other. He could tell that we offer each other lots of support and friendship. Crystal, it was great to meet Chris. He is so nice! Loved seeing pictures of the kids as well.
Connie, we really missed you yesterday but we included you in our talk. So your were there in spirit. We want you feeling better soon. We have to have another get together soon! Randy, we talked about you too. We are worried that you may have a stress fracture. You need to see a doctor. Kim, we are all envious of that new look with no excess skin!
Rick loved being out so much, he took me to Red Lobster for dinner. Needless to say I have lots of leftovers. I was still stuffed from lunch. We really liked the choice of restaurants Crystal. Good job!
Today it is work and home.
Everyone have a great day.

Cheryl was great on Saturday to go out and do the three store major shopping I normally do. I had been stocking up so the biggest trip was only our little basket full.
One of Cheryl's bus friends, who is a real card, works at Advocate, she could be a surgeon or housekeeping, does not matter to me. Anyway CB and I were out in the parklet and Cheryl was trying to get her to gang up on me and get me to a doctor. I think this is just a reinjury of the same ligaments and tendons I hurt a couple of years back and it is not as bad this time. Her friend figured out I was not going to a doc right away so said I had to go to bed and wrap it with rags soaked in apple vinegar. That did good things for it but yesterday I did hobble down to my meeting and ended up with a swollen bursa that is likely the small muscle by the Achilles so now I have to let that rest so again practically home bound.
When all of this heals enough I need to get my PCP to order an MRI on it as xrays and that other thing showed nothing two years ago.
Hi My Friends,
I am still smiling from yesterday. I am in love with you all, including Rick and Chris. . I knew we were close, but after meeting, I realize we are really close! It's nice to have such lovely friends. G had a great time and said he looks forward to the next time we get together. He really liked Rick and Chris.
Connie, I am glad you are on the mend. Randy I agree with Cheryl, it's time to see what the heck is wrong.
Today I was up and out of the house by 7am. I cleaned the church and afterwards went for an aerobics class. I then hit my therapy appointment and swung by my daughter's new house to help her clean the inside of her kitchen cabinets and put contact paper on the shelves. I got home in time for dinner with G. He made grilled chicken and butter-beans. He was off today and tomorrow. Tomorrow is the interview in Champaign. I'll let you know how that goes.
Well, my dear ones, I am off to clean up a bit and get ready for my favorite show, Under the Dome. Love it!
Hugs,
Sharon
