Saturday Roll Call

Today I would like to set up a new project to fail point on my notebook in Django.  Go to a noon meeting for my 30 day anniversary and then to FreeGeek to see if anyone can get me past the fail point.  My foot may deter me from the things outside the home but we will see what we shall see.

Hello everyone

Well yesterday was nice.  The boss at work let us out early at 2pm.  So I went and met Chris for lunch and then came home and relaxed.  It was a weird day of jumping back and forth between starting to feel better and and feeling BLAH again.  But I see that as a step in the right direction.  Periods of feeling better is better than non at all.  Around 6pm is when it all started to go to pot.  I was standing in line at the store and my head just felt like a 1000 lbs and the stuffiness was back.  I came home took more medicine and relaxed the rest of the evening and went to bed early.

Today...well I am going to attempt to have a nice day.  I am feeling half decent.  I am going to the salvage yard to find a shroud for Chris's car.  I always loved going to the salvage yards...hahaha.  Then we are coming back to my place.  The kids are going to go swimming in my pool.  I am going to make sandwiches for everyone.  We are going to spend the rest of the day sitting by the pool relaxing. 

I am looking forward to tomorrow.  I am coming for sure.  I am not sure about Chris yet.  It's whether or not his mom will watch the kids.  And I kind if feel bad about taking him away from his oldest.  He hasn't seen him in awhile because he was in Virginia.  So I am going to tell him it's OK if he stays home and spends time with him.  We shall see...

Randy- I hope your foot heals up soon.  Feel better

I had fun last night at the Belly Dancing class, but this girl is to old for it. My bod doesn't move as much as I would like it to.

Today, I am going to start on my menu for a cookout we are having over labor day weekend. I know we are grilling a turkey, I think, maybe chicken. If everyone rsvps, we could have 40 or so. I still have a few invites to do.

It looks like it is going to be a perfect weekend.

Good morning Randy and the rest of Illinois!

I have been MIA for the week.  I had to go to Kentucky to help my Aunt cross over to heaven to be with her beloved husband.  She had been having health issues and took a bad turn last Sunday.  Her soul left very early on Wednesday morning and her body finally stopped on Thursday afternoon.  She is now with her husband and at peace.  This is the Aunt and Uncle that lived with me for about 6 months from New Orleans, after Katrina (if any of you remember).  We were very close.

I am hoping to make it tomorrow.  Todd may or may not come with me, I haven't gotten a straight answer.

Sorry I haven't had time to read and catch up with everyone, but I can do that tomorrow.

Every time you talk about Django i think of that movie with Jamie Foxx by Quentin Terrentino. It makes me giggle. I hope your foot gets better quickly.

Well, I have been on that Effexor for depression now for 3 weeks and have gained 9 lbs. All I want to do is eat. Ugh! I saw my girlfriend last night and she always exclaims about how much weight l have lost since the last time she saw me. This time she said I look healthy. I think that is code for round and fat. My tops are a little snug.  It's  a good thing I have continued aerobics daily. I cant imagine where i would be if I didnt work out and expel some of those calories.

Dawn, I am sorry for your loss. It is a hard thing to lose someone you love, but I think it is an honor to be by their side when they go home to the Lord.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone who comes tomorrow.

Hi guys,

I was waiting to see how I feel to see if I was going to be able to make it tomorrow. The last two days, I've been extremely tired and yesterday my incision started to hurt really bad. I think a few of my stitches are open. I have some drainage from the site and it is really red! I think some nerves are coming back because it hurts to have clothes on my skin. Sounds weird, but I'd be happy to go topless. So at this point, I don't think I'm going to be able to go. I think its amazing that you guys are still getting together. Does Chris still come on the site and to the get togethers? How is Lucy doing? Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
