Sunday Roll Call
Hi My Dear Ones,
It's after 3p and I just got home from church. There was the quarterly leadership meeting after service and that turned into something longer than expected.
I have to say this weather has been delish. The evenings simply divine.
Dawn, I am so glad you got your severance and unemployment. It sounds like you are enjoying this time that God has given you. Awesome. It has been 15 months for me of being off full-time and I am ready to get back into the rat race. It was a lovely respite, I learned to love my body and get into the daily swing of working out. For that, I am forever grateful. That last 10 lbs I lost came back. That is the first time ever since the surgery that I have gained more than 2 lbs. I am working out everyday next week, in hopes that I can lose it again. I am still 50 lbs from goal.
Everyone enjoy this lazy day of summer. Fall will be here before we know it.
hugs,
Sharon
Good Evening,
I know this is really late, but we are leaving in the morning for another couple of days with Morgan.
We had a good time in St. Louis. Seen my cousin, and my 2 best friends from school. We got home about 6 this evening, in enough time to repack for morning.
I was able to find a dress for Huberts' 50th reunion at Ross. It is short sleeved, semi wrap, in a taupe color. It has a "diamond" pin at the waistline. I am hoping to take it in so it can be worn on the cruise in May.
Friday, I got great reports from both Dr.s. Dr. Sauri, heart Dr., loved my readings on the blood tests I had done. He hinted that he may be able to drop some of my meds, within the next year. ♥
Dr. Guski was equally impressed. Said not to change anything. See you again in 6 months.♥♥
We also went to Sams Club and Trader Joes.
Today on the way home, we stopped at a flea market, in Lebanon, Illinois. Got some great veggie buys, and an old plow. I think I know where it will be displayed. It needs paint and cleaning before it goes on display. I also got some Southern Illinois peaches.
So, we are off for the rest of our mini vation in the morning. Have a great few days.
Hugs,
