Friday Roll Call
Good Morning,
We made it through another week. Even if it is gray and damp out. It is looking to be a great weekend.
This is my last day of work for a month. That is ok. When we start again in September, I won't be so lost again.
Does anyone have any super plans for the weekend? We have none, so it will be low keyed.
Hugs,
Happy Friday Everyone!
I am ready for the weekend! We have been super busy lately. Plus the customers have been snarly.
One lady told me yesterday because I was asking her too many questions. She was calling to do a return and did not have a PIN number, her name was not in the system, that company had multiple account numbers, she did not know which account the product was ordered on and she only had a partial PO number and she was supposed to have a password to do a return. to do a return according to her company notes. She had none of this and when I finally found the order and asked for the password and she did not have one she told me I was rude to ask so many questions and then deny a return. I had no way of knowing that she needed a password until I was able to bring up the order and the account. I had spent 10 minutes trying to find the info that she should have had! People! My day was filled with people like this.
No special plans for the weekend other than to forget about work and people. Spend time with the kitties. They all wanted to snuggle this morning and I could not.
Dawn, I hope your new exchange person is getting along with everyone. Enjoy her!
Crystal, have fun this weekend wth Chris.
Lisa, enjoy that pool this weekend and dont forget to smuggle a couple of kittens inside.
Randy, enjoy the big city. Lots of things going on there daily.
Sharon, hope you have a wonderful day! Hope all is well with you. We have missed you the last couple of days.
Everyone have a fantastic day!

Hello everyone
I'm at work...and I'm freezing. My heater is on, I have a jacket on. They have the AC set on 68!!! Brrrr
Today I am working of course and then after work I am finally going to dye my hair. I also have to get things ready for tomorrow. Chris and I taking the kids and going hiking and then for a picnic. I have to get all the picnic food ready and get the cooler ready. I'm just making sandwiches, chips and fruit . But I'm also going to bake some cookies to bring for the kids and Chris to munch on. So I will have that to organize. Then of course I will make dinner and try to get a workout.
Oh I also have to stop by the post office to after work because I am sending Amanda a care package. I'm excited because I found cheddar cheese that doesn't need to be refrigerated...at Hickory Farms. So I am sending her that and some crackers for the cheese, of course some peanut butter and Nutella, tons of candy bars and chips of all kinds, cookies and a drive that I downloaded a bunch of her favorite TV shows and some I thought she might like. She has a computer. This package will easliy cost me more than $50 to send.
Well I better get back to work...see you all later..bye
This living between two states is challenging! I cant leave things at my daughters cause she doesnt have room for it! Im thinking of renting an apartment but I dont want to be in the city. So im going to wait till next summer and see what to do.
Hope everyone is ok!

Hi folks,
We returned from Scotland and Ireland last evening and today has been laundry and trying to get back in this time zone. It's also hard to remember what day it is. The countries were beautiful and we had perfect weather every day. It's unheard of to have so much sun in the UK but we had sun every day. It was also warmer than usual so all the warm clothes and rain gear we packed were unnecessary. I did buy a little bit of wool in Scotland to make a shawl. It comes from a sheep only raised on one small island in the Orkney Islands. the sheep eat only seaweed. A friend from Virginia also brought me some alpaca from a farm near her home so I have plenty to do.
We had a lot of fun with friends and tried the traditional fish and chips and Scottish haggis. I absolutely loved the haggis and ordered it a second time at the airport for a last breakfast. We toured the Guinness brewery and the Jameson distillery as well as several cathedrals and castles.
Hope everyone is doing fine.

Well, California is going well. It's a way different auction than what I'm used to! I'm used to fast paced and cars. This is a celebrity item auction. A lot of old Hollywood. I didn't know who half of these stars are nor do I really care. They breath the same air as I do and have problems just like me. I don't feel your any more special because your a celebrity! I will NEVER treat you any different! But anyway...... This morning was interesting. I got a call from my doctors office saying that they can't do the surgery on Wednesday. The doctor has a speaking arrangement and they screwed up on his flight. So they wanted to know if I could have surgery a day early. So....Tuesday it is. The only bad thing is at I get back from California late Monday and Tuesday I was gonna spend all day with Maddie. Ryan had to get the day off of work last minute. Things all work out for a reason!!
Connie, I'm glad you and Kay are back safe. It sounds like you sure had a beautiful time!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
