Sunday Roll Call
Good Morning,
It is going to be a great day!
I have already watered the yard and garden, we started watering at 5 a.m. I noticed last night that the leaves on some of my tomato plants were starting to wilt.
The laundry is done, the bed is made, and I think I am going to put a brisket on for dinner. That is all I know I want to do, I may go out and get some of the yard cleaned up.
Monica and her family was here yesterday afternoon. We were all in the pool. I was hoping to light the chimena last night, but they left early and Hubert wanted to go to bed. Maybe when Morgan spends some time here next month.
So what is everyone doing to keep cool?
Hugs,
Hi Lisa,
5am????? My dear, you are an early bird for a Sunday. I had a hard time getting up at 7am today. I think it's the new med I am on.
It is a fine day. We went to church and then out for breakfast. It was a mad-house at our diner in town. I wish we had just come home and had something.
This evening is our pastor's birthday party and they are having a party for him at Cemeno's in Joliet. Other than that, I am just going to get some things done around here. I love Sundays when we stay close to home. I was going to go to Trader Joes but decided to wait until tomorrow when the crowds are less likely.
Hope everyone is doing something fun!
Hugs,
Sharon
