Wednesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I had a wonderful incident happen yesterday...lots of sarcasm there.  I came in not feeling well to begin with because of my UTI and there was a typed note on my keyboard.  So I read it and it was basically a 1 1/2 page note telling me how rude I am and have no manners because I say "no problem" when someone says thank you, instead of saying "you're welcome".  Now mind you this is an office where F-bombs and other curse words are flying out of people's mouths...but me saying "no problem"...not only is unmannerly and rude...but is somehow insulting to this person!!!  But I guess I can say F**K you all  want???  So the more I thought about it the more upset I got...so I decided to tell my boss.  I showed her the note and she got really angry.  I didn't expect her to be so upet.  She called it ridiculous, childish and petty.  She said she was going to get to the bottom of it.  I knew from what I heard from other people she took the issue to her boss and pulled a few people into her office.  From what I understand she told people that wasn't going to stand for this kind of thing.  Wow...when I went to her I didn't expect that kind of response.  But I now know I can trust she will back me up.  The person I suspect that did it spent the day ignoring me and avoiding all eye contact.  After our boss talked to her she was sugary sweet and nice....which bugged me.  Because it was fake.  I just gave her a very monotone response and didn't look up from my computer.  I just wasn't in the mood to "fake it". 

Then on my way home someone almost crashed into my car because they driving on the wrong side of the road!!!!  And they were heading right for me!!!  If I hadn't swerved to avoid them I would have hit them head on!!!  I don't know what they were thinking.  Thank God for turning lanes because otherwise I would have swerved into oncoming traffic myself. 

So there was my day in a nutshell...not a good day at all!!!  Hopefully today will be better.

Today I am working and then I have groceries to do and errands to run.  Thats it.  How about you guys?

Good  Morning Everyone!

It is another scorcher out there today!  I think I had a day like Crystals yesterday.  With this heat, no one is happy and they let everyone know it.  Sigh. 

Today I have work and then my kidney doctor appointment.  Just a routine checkup.  Nothing special going on.  The cats are even complaining of the heat.  It is too hot to go outside.

I think I will be able to get into the pool finally. It is finally getting warm.

Cheryl and I with a relative were tourist yesterday.  We did the front of Wrigley, Ernie Banks Statue, Navy Pier, cheezeborger, water taxis, China Town, lemon grass chicken, shrimp and pork chop, fruit drinks for them, water taxis back, the Bean, Marshall Fields 8th floor and 4th and 5th floors, then Giodorno's were Sherry did a salad and had one piece of small deep dish with them but I was so tired I just had water.  Them is the husband was working but joined us there.

Have to pay some bills and order meds today.
