Sunday Roll Call
Yesterday I got a little bit to much sun! My face and shoulders are tender, so I'm hoping to spend the day in the shade or inside. With it being so nice out, that just kills me. Maddie and I are going to do a few chores and then do a craft project we saw on Pinterest. Has anyone see the melted crayon art? It's pretty cool, and Mad has been wanting to try it for awhile now. I thought it sounded like a cheap and fun project to do today.
Sounds like everyone is busy and enjoying their weekend. I work Monday and Tuesday this week and then have off until next Tuesday then go to CA. for a work trip.
Enjoy this beautiful day!
Kim
Good Morning,
I am waiting for my last load of laundry to dry, so I can get it put away and go outside. Then I am going to rearrange the deck so I can put my new chimina (sp) at the one corner. I have wanted one for a few years, but no place to put it. We will see how many times this summer it will get used.
The pool is finally getting to where I can think about using it. Of course, I go back to work for 2 weeks tomorrow.
Kim, my sister has a melted crayon picture her granddaughter did in school last year. Very neat piece. It is on a piece of canvas and looks great. Of course, she had it framed and it looks expensive. Not bad for an eleven year old.
We went to Monicas yesterday for the BBQ. A lot of shade in her yard, so it was very nice to sit out in.
Randy, I need to get back to walking also. I admire you for doing it.
Have a great Sunday afternoon,
Hugs,
Good afternoon,
We found out this am at 6:30 that we can go to Ireland and Scotland so we are doing nothing but packing today since we leave tomorrow at noon! The MRI showed nothing new but the three fistulas that we've dealt with for 18 months. The two new ones didn't even show up so they are not significant, just annoying. It would certainly help if I were not a worrier, but all in all, I've been pretty calm about all this--more so than usual.
Thank goodness we are going to northern parts of these countries so the clothes are more fallish than summer. The highest temp should be around 70, so there wasn't any laundry to do at the last minute. I packed in less than an hour but Kay is more precise and she is still working at it. After we are both done, we split the suitcases so that if the checked one gets delayed, we still have clothes to wear. But the repack only takes a few minutes.
Have a great couple of weeks. If I can post from the ship I will. Even so, I should be able to read your posts regularly.
