Wednesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Today is my Friday...and I'm so happy!!!! 

I have all kinds of errands to run today.  I am hoping they lets go early today...I think they might...fingers crossed!!!

I have no idea what our plans are...I think we ill talk about that tonight.  Whatever they are they won't be extravgant.  Chris still works as always...the downfall of working in healthcare... 

So what do you guys have going on this 4th of July???

Well I have to get going...I have working lots of overtime lately...so much work to do...costruction's busy season is upon us!!!

Good Morning Everyone!

It is my Friday as well!    Like Crystal, I hope I get out of here early.  I anticipate a slow day but I could be wrong.  Yesterday I dealt with stupid people all day long.  People were calling in orders and had no idea what they wanted and were wanting me to guess what they needed.    What size binder clips do you need?  " OH I don't know, the big ones and the small ones"  (They only come in 4 different sizes)    "should I get paper or foam plates"    " I don't want 500 plates but you only sell them in cartons of 500.  Cant you sell me smaller quantities?"   Sure, we will make up a special box and price just for you.  ETC!    And I am supposed to handle these calls in less than 5 minutes.  Where employers dig up these employees I have no idea. 

Today it is work and then home.  No special plans for the 4th other than working on regaining my sanity.    Rick and I do want to make a quilt for Gage.  He is having his graduation party on the 13th and I want to do a block quilt in Augustana colors for his dorm room.  We should be able to do that in a couple of days.  So that will be my holiday project.

Happy Hump Day.

I am heading to Springfield this morning, about ten or so. I have to pick up Morgan and get her to the Rainbow Assembly by 3 or so. I will be taking her to lunch before I drop her off for the weekend. Monica and Scott will be going on Saturday.

Then this evening, if it doesn't rain, we are heading to our local bandshell for a free concert. It is also the opening of Streators 4th Celebration.

I did get my front porch bench painted and varnished with one coat of varnish on it yesterday. I was hoping to get another coat on it this morning, but it looks like rain.

Of course, now that I want to get this porch done, I get called back to work for 2 or 3 weeks starting the 15th. Just enough to mess up the unemployment for a month. I am going back full time in Sept. I just hope it last for the year.

Crystal, Hubert will work the Holiday too. We don't have any plans. He will be off on Friday and then Sunday.

Connie, have a great time in Madison, We know how you hate to go there

Sharon, have a great 4th. I am sure you are doing something fun.

Christine, what are your plans?

Nancy, I really enjoy your kitten stories. Hubert just won't break down and permit me to have any pets.

Dawn, I am thinking of getting a fire pit for the new deck. If I do, it will be a surprise to Hubert. I haven't mentioned it to him yet. If I do, I will put clay tiles under it, so it doesn't harm the deck.

Fires are SO relaxing.  There is NO WAY Todd could have one on a deck unless the deck was made of stone........now THERE'S a thought!

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

Today is also my Friday.  I would like to do this every week!  I am really busy so far and I like to be busy.  Makes the time go so much faster.  I just got a little break.

We are heading up to Milwaukee for Summerfest tomorrow.  We usually go every year.  This year, Liv, David and a couple of their friends are coming.  We stay at the same place each year.  They provide dinner and breakfast and have a nice pool area.  We will likely be coming home later on Friday.  The kids all have to work (except David) Friday so they will be leaving before us.

After we get back, I am not sure what we will do.  If the weather cooperates, I may get the furniture done.

Hello My Dear Ones,

I got out early this morning and got my work-out in......I dont know if it did much good. I realize I need to change up the routine. Aerobics isnt making me feel sore anymore. I am going to try something different.....but what???????? I know myself, if I dont enjoy something I will not do it.

I also met with my mentor today. She is awesome. She makes me think....I sure miss that. Without a real job, I dont use my brain like I used to.

Tomorrow we are celebrating the 4th in Englewood with my in-laws and my husband's family. It is a yearly tradition since it also my sister-in-laws birthday and we always celebrate it. My brother in law comes in from Iowa and we always have a great time seeing each other.
