Tuesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Yesterday was just one of those days at work.  Every thing I touched was a problem.  I couldn't get anything done without some kind of problem.  It was a pain.  I did eventually get it all done but it took forever.  Geeze!!!!  Then I when I got home to make dinner I made turkey patties and I ended up cutting my thumb.  I told Chris and he said they got more people in the ER with lacerations from separating frozen patties...hahaha!!!!   I like to prepare them like salisbury steak...so no buns.  I eat them with a side of carrots.

Today we shall see how crazy it gets at work.  After work I will workout...thats it.  I am not in the mood to run around in any potential storms.  I will probably go out tomorrow and my running around.  Today I can dye my hair.  It needs it.

You know we really need to start planning a get together.  We haven't had one in a very long time.  Even if we just meet up a restaurant somewhere.

So I got to get going and finish getting ready...see you all later...have a nice day all...bye

Goo Morning,

I am seeing a bit of sun, but the skies are still gray. I just had on the weather channel, ad it looks like Dawn is going to get wet first today.

That was a scary storm late yesterday afternoon. We got very little rain from it, but the skies came over fast and rolling. We did get some more done on the deck . Today, we are waiting or more lumber to be delivered. I hope it comes before the rain.

Dawn, I will post a picture of the lamp later today. I just need to refasten the chain. I think it will be going on the upper deck.

Crystal, we all have those days. Hope today is better.

Nancy, Try to stay dry and your furbabies too.

Sharon, What are your plans for today?

Christine, are you working this week?

Randy, where are you

Crystal, plan a get together.  We do need it.

Hubert will be home at 8:30 this morning., so i guess I had better get something done before he gets home,

Hugs,

Lisa

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

Yes, a storm chased me into work today.  As I was driving east, I was driving into sunny skies.  In my rear-view window, it was very black.  The storm got here about an hour after I did.  Now, it looks cloudy but not raining.

I was so excited last night to see "Under the Dome", but did not realize it was on at 9 pm.  I fell asleep.  Good thing for internet viewing!  That's what I will be doing tonight.

I agree that a get together is in order. I don't mind driving, or you could all come to Rock City or Rockford.

Not much else happening around here.

Everyone have a lovely day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Got caught in the rain on my morning stroll.  Had not taken my phone so I just enjoyed it.  Had to change my shirt and dry my hair when I came in but sat in the parklet and enjoyed it for a bit first.

Randy

So you have been forgiven?

Hi Dear Ones,

Getting together sounds wonderful. I dont mind driving.

Today, I am going to work out then I have to drive into the city and take my mom-in-law grocery shopping. I'd love to cancel, but she is all revved up about going out so I will be good and go in.

Last night I got caught in the storm. I decided to go see my grand-babies and it was sunny and clear. By the time i got a mile away, the storm was rolling in. My daughter always tells me her area rarely sees these eruptions. Well last night it was so bad her area got pummeled as well. We lost power for about an hour. It was nice to hang out. I brought over interior design books. My daughter and her husband are in the process of gutting their new house and putting up new dry wall and new floors.

I am about to leave for swim.

Have a great day and stay dry. I hear another storm is rolling in again.

Hugs,

Sharon

Hello friends,

I went to Panera's for spinning at 7:30 this AM. The sky got blacker and also greener but there was no tornado message on the phone, just flood warnings, so I mushed on. I just got inside when the skies opened up. I called Kay at home to see what the TV said and she also said no tornados, but it was the worst tornado looking sky I've ever seen (and I've lived in the midwest most of my life!) Everyone got to spinning safely and the rain had stopped by the time we were done.

This afternoon Kay and I both had appointments at the dentist. Our dentist is a friend and we know everyone in the office so it's more fun than most dental experiences. We are so fortunate to have such great care providers that we look forward to visits!

Last night we had a scape quiche and we'll have the rest tonight. Scapes are the top part of a garlic plant but taste like mild green onions and mild garlic. They are wonderful in a quiche!

Hope you all stayed dry today!

Connie
