Good Morning,

This is my 2nd post for today. I posted under Sunday, instead of Monday. I wonder if that is how my day will go now.

No real plans for today, just laundry and such.

I hope everyone had a great Fathers Day. My Dad has been gone for 23 years. He lead a good life.

What are you doing today?

Hugs,

Lisa

Can we just keep Sunday for this whole week.  I could actually use a month of Sundays.  Having finished the Rice class I now am in a funk.  The class gave me a purpose but now that is finished I am floundering.  Another meaning of floundering might actually be fun but I have no funds to get to the gulf coast where I know floundering is good.  Rebuilding my skills to the newer technology is a good goal and Django and pygame are still likely the way to go with that and the hacking groups should become more and more interesting with my newly acquired Python skills.  These skills and the ones for web interfaces yet to be learned will translate into marketable skills.  The rebuilding of confidence and marketability of Randy are yet to be determined.  After so long with my circadian rhythm disorder and the lack of human contact as well as the excess eating and all of the physical problems being worked out the continued uphill climb to change other replacement negative behaviors seems overwhelming.

Good morning friends,

I'm getting a late start this morning from doing crossword puzzles at breakfast. It's time to get moving and get off the computer. I spent some time yesterday trying to get my printer to scan. It kept saying it wasn't connected to a computer but the print function worked. I finally gave up and took a photo with my phone of the old pic of me and my dad so I could put it up on Facebook. I know the scanner worked a while ago but it doesn't work now. I did enjoy seeing pics of friends and their dads.

Have a good day,

Connie

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

It sounds like everyone had a nice weekend, me included.  Riley really enjoyed camping.  Friday night it was her, Amber, David and I mostly.  We got everything set up and had a nice dinner.  Todd got there after his ball game just about in time for us to go to sleep.

Saturday morning, it was raining on and off between drizzle and real rain.  At one point, even Todd admitted that we should pack up and go home after breakfast.  While we were cooking, he and Riley started to do a silly "sun dance" and low and behold, the sun actually peeked out a bit.  They kept dancing on and off and the sun came out in full force and we never saw more than a few light sprinkles overnight on Saturday!  Amber and I drove to town for rain supplies while they hiked and it turns out that we never needed them!  AMAZING!  Amber kept checking the weather and was amazed that the 70-80% chance of severe weather seemed to have disappeared as the day wore on.  Olivia and her boyfriend came down Saturday night and we did not leave the campground until about 1:45 yesterday.

When we got home, Todd went to the neighbors' and David and I put things away and then joined them for a cook out.

Now, back to work.  Both my kids are home today, already not getting along.  Fun, fun, fun.......

Gotta get back, break is over......

Everyone have a lovely day!

Hi Lisa and Everyone,

I hit the ground running early to go workout. I stepped on the scale because my suit felt funny and I was shocked to see I have gained 8 lbs. i am eating only salads and protein until the 8 lbs is vomonos.

We had a lovely time with my in-laws yesterday. My father in law is so nice. My mother in law is stressed and I realized yesterday she is worried about my father in law and her failing health. I put myself in her shoes and tried to ignore any negative comments.

We got home late and then just passed out because our weekend was so busy.

I have a job interview tomorrow. It is with a trucking company to do dispatching. I've never done it before but I am willing to try it. I'd love to learn a new job. We will see.

Lisa, I am sorry about your dad. It is hard to lose the ones we love.

Hugs,

Sharon

Hello everyone

Well I had a busy weekend.  We had fun Saturday night.  He ended up taking me on a dinner cruise on Lake Michigan.  It ws very nice.  Then Sunday we went to the zoo.

Today though I had to make up for having the day off Friday.  The office had the day off Friday and took us to an equestrian show.  It was a very busy and hectic day.  So the day just flew by....but I am taking the day of tomorrow.  So I will be doing this all over Wednesday.

I am going to make dinner now...see you all later...bye

Good Evening All

It is late but I thought I would post anyway.  I am glad everyone had a great weekend.  Mine was good too.  It is nice having Gage here.  It makes things more interesting.

Work was busy today.  Nothing new there.

Buffy is terrorizing all the cats.  She has discovered "tails" and no tail is safe.  Gyzmo is hilarious.  He does NOT like his tail messed with and wags it in anger and that just tempts her more.  It is so funny.  Actually everyone is getting along well so I am thankful for that.  The adults do not quite know how to deal with a brat but they are learning.

Everyone have a great day tomorrow!
